Reviews of MX HomePro

The worst - Avoid

This is the worst service ever. Just get a physical remote…unless you want to be frustrated just simply clicking right…DO NOT GET THIS!

(Still) Can’t recommend yet

Updated review:
Don’t bother going the URC route. Installer required...and they are as flaky as you’d expect. Changes to your system? You need a “professional” installer. Do yourself a favor (if it’s not too late) and go with the Harmony Elite remotes. This system is stuck in 1983. Look at the update history. It’s a joke, and it was an experiment gone wrong. They originally designed this to be installed by the homeowner, but they realized that their help desk would be flooded with calls, so they made it a professional install (again, professional installers are basically between jobs).

Old Review: If you have more than four activities set up on the home screen, you can’t scroll down to see them. Until that is fixed, I can’t recommend this system or the app. Also, no sleep/timer functionality. Hold off for a few releases. This will be updated once the app is.
