really concerned

Okay, so, I’ve been on diy for over a year and it went from a 10/10 to a 4/10. It’s really failing.
First up - I can’t post videos anymore. They just don’t load and nobody—even me—can’t see them and the moderators are doing ANYTHING.
Second - The mods generally don’t do anything. Like people have tagged the mods about problems (like the first thing I said) and they haven’t done anything at all. When people get into arguments the mods don’t do anything.
Third - LEARNING APP?? No. Not a learning app. Don’t even try to send your children or students on this app to “learn”.
That’s all I have to say.

Amazing

I been a on that site for 4 weeks and it is amazing it’s is not like titok it is not rigged it is a fair platform for kids. I would recommend it thx bye

Bad app

DIY please fix this it won’t let me start Seting up when I first got the app everyone else don’t download this

BEEARE THIS IS A SCAM!

they put you on autopay and don’t let you cancel the account, you get sent in a loop on the webside and it does not allow you to manage your account! I get charged $80 every few months with no way to stop it other then closing out my BANK ACCOUNT! i have emailed the suggested email on the app and in other review responses and they DO NOT RESPOND to emails! stay away, do not give them your bank information, not for the “free trial” , they will not allow you to cancel your account and will continue to charge you until your bank account is CLOSED!

Not worth it

I used to be REALLY into DIY. It was simple and fun. But then they started coming out with new updates, like an update where you were encouraged to log in every day and you would get a sticker or something that you could use when you posted a picture. I obsessed over this, and I spent a LOT of time on DIY, making sure my posts were getting liked and featured, and that I was getting new followers. My parents got really frustrated, because this was the type of unhealthy relationship that they were told DIY would prevent. I started taking pictures of Disney characters, and giving them a "modern day makeover". I got good at it, but the mods were convinced that I took the drawings from the internet, and that they weren't my own work, no matter how many times I explained that I had done the drawing. It was these two things that made me leave DIY. It's not worth the money.

Thank you for all the love! Our moderators are working day in and out trying to make DIY community safe and bullying-free. We're very sorry to hear your experience and would like to dig deeper. We request you to send us more details on help@diy.org. Looking forward to resolving your concerns!

Great concept ruined by incompetence.

Honestly, don’t waste your time with this so called “Kids Educational app”. They have essentially cancelled everything that use to make this app actually worth a dime. Not to also mention all the former and present mods and teachers continue to leave due to the abusive and often hostile work environment they face from the company itself. God forbid the children using this “educational app” would also be on the receiving end of their treatment. Once the ownership of DIY was transferred from JAM, this app has struggled to become successful. No matter what was at DIYs fingertips, it failed to become anything real. Don’t waste your time, Outschool or any other platform is so much more equipped for children’s real needs.

Terrible!

I started using this app and I am a child myself and the only free thing in this app are the videos(sessions) I am very sad because as I was getting the subscription I was up to the kids sign up,I put in the credentials and it wasn’t letting me through! I was spamming the sign in button but guess what, nothing. Just a heads up for people that want to get this app, DONT, ITS NOT WORTH IT!
And it gets even worse. My dad started the payment and it didn’t say that I had DIY plus. DIY at least fix this or delete your app completely

I know it’s a stupid problem…

So even as a 10yr old I understand money is kinda limited now with gas, children etc… so making you have to pay money just to post and change a profile and more is stupid like ik you want money but for real your making my poor broke mother pay 6.67$ just for me to what post a video teaching 5yr olds to draw a hand or something nuh uh no way I’m keeping this if your making me pay! >:(. Now for the good ish stuff so it’s a decent game you learn to code, draw, animate etc… and you see amazing work others do on here it’s a masterpiece others can do I like this game it’s pretty good I wouldn’t recommend it to people not willing to pay

Love it

I can’t even describe it I love it so much with all the learning and experience there is so much to learn I don’t even know where to start the only thing i would say though is that some stuff costs money I mean I’m not paying £6:00 a month
I still love DIY but there’s know way I’m paying for all the little extra bits of DIY

But overall really love and use it all the time thx so much DIY you have inspired me so much

Don’t get me wrong…

I love the app! Great app, I’ve always wanted something like this but, I decided to get DIY plus and I bought it, the free trial started, I even got a purchase confirmation email from Apple telling me I bought it. Why won’t it work then? Yes I tried restore purchases but it won’t load when I click the restore button. So that isn’t working either. Although I understand why it’s there, I wish that DIY plus didn’t keep you from liking things or doing challenges or following people. I understand posting videos. But most of all I would LOVE to change my profile picture. I feel like that most of all should be free.

Sorry to keep you this long, but like I said great app just a few thing that I wish worked differently.
