Video File Inaccessible - Unable to upload video after recording for 11 minutes
After recording for just 11 minutes this app refused to allow me access to my video. It prompted an error stating that the video file was over 1 GB which is too large for its servers. I couldn’t even save it locally as there was no option. What exactly am I paying for then?
As if that wasn’t enough, for iOS users there is no way to pause the scrolling text. That combined with the fact that you can’t control the exact timings between paragraphs makes it extremely frustrating.
Thank goodness for the free trial period.

One major drawback!
I would give this raving 5 stars for all the features it has and how easy it is to use, if it wasn’t for how slow it is to update your changes and edits! I have 5G high speed internet and it took 3 hours to edit and upload a 1:29 second promo, due to the lag in uploading videos to use in the composer. I even tried different internet browsers to see if Chrome or Edge was the culprit. I don’t have endless time to come back to my screen and check on the status of updates. Not when other softwares out there are much more faster.

Great idea, poor results
App has a lot of functions, effects and makes the process of filming while reading easier and more realistic. The big downside to this app is when processing and exporting the final result. The video consistently skips frames and looks terrible. Without effects, the video quality itself is also not great once processed through the app and still skips frames. I have recorded on both video quality settings available and cannot make sense of this. Also, the paid version does not remove the BIGVU watermark and is another highly disappointing result given the purpose of my use case. A way to go yet in making this app enjoyable for the end user. I hope to see these fixes in the near future.

Inconsistent
So so so.... so frustrating when you’re trying to read this TelePrompter and the speed jumps around all over the place. You set it to go at a speed you’re comfortable reading and and it jumps around all over the place. Not very useful when you have to start speaking artificially slowly half way through.

Hi, From what you are describing it seems like the feature "Adjust Teleprompter Speed" is turned on. This feature adjusts the speed for each line according to the number of words. You can turn this feature off in the settings. For more information contact us at support@bigvu.tv

DONT HESITATE ON THIS ONE
So my wife and I are diving heavily into the online social media business model and found ourselves spending hours recording and writing outlines of our talks on dry erase boards and then trying VERY hard not to look like we are reading in our videos... lol
....then my wife found this app. It’s so easy to use that we downloaded it, learned it and used it to shoot two videos all in the same evening!!
If you’ve ever recorded a video that you needed to use notes for then you would be the first to truly appreciate what this app can do, and if you are recording for the first time you will also win because you don’t have to suffer and learn the hard way like we did. ‘TRUST ME this app is worth every penny!!

Easy, Responsive, and User Friendly
This is the app I would have imagined in my head. It is super user friendly. I talk fast so this helps me slow down. You can set it to a certain speed for more or less words per minute. I didn't read any instructions and started making recordings right after download.
Videos Update Slowly
The app is not bad. A feature to edit video length would be nice. Also it takes about an hour to upload my video and apply the theme (vid is 6 minutes long). The app keeps telling me I am on a cellular network and says that will cause it to be slow. However I am clearly connected to fast WiFi. Searched for a way to contact the developer but couldn’t find one. Tried restarting app and my phone etc. nothing works. An hour to apply theme to 6 min video is not ideal. Help?

Takes anxiety out and saves my viewers’ time
What a great idea! The app helps me to produce videos without stumbling and looking for words thus saving time for my viewers. I am able to deliver the content I want and minimal time. Plus, the fear of camera is real, people :-) This app solves the problem. 4 stars only because I believe there’s always room for improvement, which I believe the company is passionate about. Their support via email is great as well. Thanks, Sarah, for the quick and detailed instructions when answering my question. Looking forward to seeing more creativity from you guys.
