Great synth, solid start, a couple issues.....
Great synth, simple, wish it had a few other features as far as synths go but I can those things in other synths. If the developer is reading please note a few things feedback wise. When using with a midi keyboard ( irig midi keys ) sometimes notes stick, when using it with a midi keyboard connected thru an Apogee Duet iOS, it's a lot of issues, ( too many to list ) one thing I'd like to do is not having to go to the midi menu to tell it an irig is connected, and for Gods sake, please get rid of that annoying clicking noise every time we click a button, it's pretty loud and no one really needs to hear it, thanks.

Not working - at all
on ipad air with latest version of iOS, press a key and the app just close.

I didn't expect much and you don't get much, but it does work and it's a fair little synth for the price. It doesn't sound true analogue like some upper end tablet synths come close to, but I don't know how the original EHX synths sounded (I did have a micro-synth pedal for guitar which sounded decent and this sounds close but not really alive).
Obviously it's not a Moog iSynth and it's probably a worthy buy for £3.99 if you have the money spare and can't afford a more versatile and realistic synth (both Moog synths on here are HIGHLY recommended if you can!).
I kind of feel like I should have bought a watermelon instead, this will last longer but probably won't see much use.

Going to be great...
Looks good, sounds good in demo but like the first reviewer says: it crashes immediately when a note is played. Looking forward to this issue being resolved asap and making some good noise. Come on Electro-Harmonix!
Great sound but stuck notes
Great sound and useful effects, love the simplicity of interface, but getting constant stuck notes with external midi keyboards/gear though. Can't be just me.
Very Cool
This was a very pleasant surprise. The hardware version was my very first synth back in 1981. Dialing up the "Analog Sweep" preset brought back lots of great memories. The hardware version had a great growl in the filter and this app does a nice job of capturing the unique sound of the original. On an iPad Pro it's very close to the size and feel of the original unit. Thanks for bringing this one back to life EH!

AMAZING! A MUST HAVE!
Well done EHX!!! Second to zMors Modular this is my new favorite synth app! Absolutely superb sound, well thought out controls, and classic EHX design! If you like iOS music apps then this is a must have for you!!!

I've been a fan of EH products since the 70's.
In fact I still have my Hog's Foot!
This synth sounds very authentic. I particularly like the Taurus sound. It works well, with no latency with my midi keyboard.
Keep up the good work EH! How about an IPad version of the POG?
