Good looks poor performance
The updated UK app/web experiences look good but it’s so painfully slow… on both. Please make it load the schedule faster otherwise it defeats the purpose of a convenient app for quick class booking. Also, please bring back the feedback on teachers feature. It feels like a one way street where the business isn’t willing to hear about customers experience, complaints or suggestions. Those are some expensive classes, so please deliver the right quality of experience for the money we pay

Some stylistic flaws
The number of booked sessions that are viewable is now capped. It was better when you could see all of your sessions listed, to then not have to check emails to see what you have booked and to be able to cancel them in advance if need be. The booking via floor plan is not as viewed friendly as booking via a list of spaces, as it was before. Please bring back the feature where you can save your favourite location and not have to filter the search everytime.

Worst relaunch ever
Weeks of build up to an app redesign so bad it has me close to cancelling my membership. The many bugs aside - I was unable to enter or reset password for days until someone at a club did it for me, many people I know have lost sessions, it seems to have lost the card on my file and I can’t open the app without a pop up about notifications - it is ugly, confusing, difficult to read, and unintuitive. I can’t easily select just one club to see its classes, the font is challenging and unclear, and it’s slow. And why is everything so big and ill suited to a phone screen? Booking classes has become a chore, I dread having to use this horrible app. Please change it back

Bring back “favourite studio” default filtering please

New app is sleek. Improved ability to look across studios for classes. But it is less efficient and more cumbersome if you only really want to book classes at the same studio on a regular basis (you have to proactively apply the filter each time). It would be helpful if the ability to set a default “favourite studio” is re-introduced.
Other improvements I liked were the functioning “Add to calendar” button (so much better!) and ability to easily order shakes when booking.

Terrible app update
As someone who spends £189 here, this app update is close to losing me come renewal in January. Here’s some fixes:
- why on earth isn’t the date the top of the booking calender
- why can I scroll to feb, yet not book. It used to be so easy to scroll to the end and book the new dates as they become available. Now I have to pull up my calender alongside and manually work out the three week limit
- no more auto add to calender. When I try, it adds at midnight with no information on club or spot. I have to manually add classes to my calender now. Yet another step.
- 3 more additional steps to booking a class. Before it was one click and done. Now I’m asked which membership id like to use, what shake id like
- why on earth can’t you select favourite clubs and this be automatic when booking. It auto selects ALL clubs, rather than my two closest and is clunky and unclear on how to change. Yet another step in the booking process
- selecting a reformer bed, bike or tread is hell.
- content upsells on shakes
- no clear booking information on the home screen.
This update ain’t it. The absolute definition of ‘if it ain’t broke’. I pay to go to 1Rebel for convenience and this is so far from that. Its bad enough that I’m close to cancelling as I can’t bloody use my membership with ease.

Not happy with new update
I can’t see all my booked sessions, only a week at a time.
When booking I can only see the date but not the day, the old app was so much better and simpler
Why show February days to book but you can’t book it, only show us the calendar we can book. Now I don’t know when the calendar for booking opens.
I now need to expand the spot map to book? Please make it a list like th old app

New app
The new app is much worse than the old version. Some specific feedback:
- the session listings no longer say the day of the week next to the date when searching for a class, which is really unhelpful, and I keep having to cross check the calendar. It’s helpful to have this as I tend to book classes on specific days.
- the text is too small and not in a colour or font that is easy to read. It’s not clear and simple like it used to be.
- there are two extra steps to booking a class which is annoying. First you have to choose which credit you want to use and then you are always encouraged to buy a shake. Please remove these, and make it a single click to book a class again.
- the map of the studio does not fit on to a standard iPhone screen, so you have to mess about scrolling about to find the space you want to book.
- before you could compare class times at up to 5 clubs at a time to choose the one that worked, now it seems limited to 2 clubs, which is annoying as sometimes it’s useful to find which time works best.
- I’ve been booked on to lots of classes that I did not select since the app launched, at a club I do not go to. I’ve had to go through and check all of my bookings, and delete these ghost bookings.

old app much better
Must say dissapointed, since the new update it’s been extremely slow with classes not loading up properly or glitching. They’ve changed it to now only being able to select 2 trainers or 2 studios to compare as opposed to how you were able to view them in the old app version. Not to mention since the update and recent updates to improve the “bugs” has led to all my classes being deleted/cancelled and having to rebook again?? Loss of a spot… stats do not work properly either . The app definitely needs developing!!! Please fix the issue with the app automatically cancelling all my sessions without me doing anything it’s a hassle rebooking and not finding the same spots available

Preferred old app
I think it’s a bit of a shame the new app and can’t quite point to anything better with this new one. The simplicity of the old one worked well… “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” comes to mind!
- can you please have it so it remembers your preferred filtered club when booking after closing the app so you don’t have to refilter every time
- I preferred on old app how it would only let you go to the furthest ahead date bookable, where as now you scroll along the dates and have to guess when to stop to be 3 weeks in the future
-home page feels quite overwhelmed with ads/perks, 2 banners for new to rebel package despite having been a member for years.
-would be good to have position/spot number in the class shown on the “next session” bit on home page
-i think the full studio view should be the default view when booking like on old one, but with this nice new ability to specifically click the spot you have, might just be me but not a big fan of the zoomed in dragging around version, feels a bit clunky

New app update
Terrible. Why would you change it to this? So many things don’t work. First of all, i have to select my club every time i book, it doesn’t remember my location. Second, i cant see what day of the week the date I’m booking is so i have to check the calendar (adding more steps). Third, no hierarchy in the info when youre looking at the sessions to book - class type and date should be more obvious. Fourth, when you want to book a spot you now have to expand a map to do so? Really? Fifth, you now have a full view of endless dates, but don’t know when bookings open up? Is it every 3 weeks?
