Great App
I do love this app and I love the services from Edelman. They were friendly and informative from the start to really get a grasp on my retirement goals. The ONLY thing I would ask to add to this app is to be able to see how each investment fund has been performing. I can see how much money I have in each investment account, but I can’t see the increase or decrease over time for each fund. It’s not detrimental, but it’s a feature that I would like and I’m sure I can’t be the only one. That might also just be the way my employer set it up. Who knows? Either way, I highly recommend the app and the services. I feel confident leaving my money in the hands of someone else, especially when I’m not the best investor on my own.

Generally good...One complaint
Overall, I really like this app.
However, I have one complaint and it is the failure to update my account balances from my brokerage. Sometimes it does, very often it does not. At a bare minimum, I wish they'd put a "force refresh" button on it and give diagnostics if it fails to update.
I realize there ARE messages it gives when the COMMUNUCATION actually fails. I'm speaking about when it does not give that message and the balances are still not updated.

Updated version
Don’t like the change where I have to click twice to get into my account instead of just going right to the app via Face ID on my IOS devices. It appears as advertising. I have had an account for over 20 years so I don’t need to be prompted to get started. There’d be no reason for anybody to download the app just to establish a relationship with the firm. EFS already has a robust website hawking all its services. Just my two cents FWIW. The app otherwise is fine-no complaints other than as stated. I was inquiring about an app with my advisor for a long time before it came to fruition. I’m glad it finally materialized.

Average
I could be completely wrong and not know what I'm talking about, but I feel like there could be more information that applies directly to my account with easy accessibility, and for a new investor with little experience it is a little hard to understand. For instance I see how much the account is valued at but how much money came out of my paycheck to build my 401k. Meaning I would possibly want to see 3 charts. My contributions, the companies contributions, and a gain/loss chart strictly from the market value. As is the only chart when I see growth, I’m not sure if it’s from my most recent contributions or from market value increase. The only way I could figure out that I was losing money was by looking at my contributions on my paystub from adp. Also I see I see the risk factor for my 401k but I would also like to see the risk factor for each of the individual accounts. If my account has 3 holdings let’s say amerifunds small market cap, vanguard high dividend yield, and s and p 500 bonds. And I know my account is very aggressive does that mean all 3 holdings are also the same? Or is it the first 2 are very aggressive and the bonds is not?

No longer syncs with my accounts
Are you kidding me? The whole reason I signed on for professional management was so I could see my entire portfolio in one place. Over the last two years, you’ve discontinued the syncing tools with no replacement. Now, you’ve stopped syncing with my company plan - which you manage. Your licensed customer service reps are excellent. Unfortunately, they are no help from a technical aspect. It’s been a couple of years with no change. Very disappointing.

Doesn’t quite work the way it should
The links via Plaid just do not work, and you can no longer just manually add a liability that is not linked via Plaid, so your total net worth number is always wrong. You used to be able to manually update your liability numbers, but not anymore. My mortgage link never updates, so I perpetually have an understated net worth because Plaid doesn’t work.

Previous version much better
This version has forgotten about managing the primary portfolio for using EFE. This app shows zero data in what the company is doing in managing my money, and whoever the approved this change must be removed. I used to be able to see what my portfolio was forecasted to be when I retire….instead I see a meaningless number that doesn’t show the companies performance of my money and what they are doing to manage my money. Super disappointing

Boo
SSO services to non Edelman apps don’t work and my deposits from several weeks ago is. It represented although confirmed by my planning. The major update to this app from around a year ago has been horrendous.
