Customer services

Since an app change 2 links on the app just time out. No joy at the desk when i raised this issue, customer services message on the phone directs you to the FAQ’s, you can leave a message via the web (complaints) and the best time to receive a call back - but you do not get the call. The app feedback link is for just that and they are only interested in suggestions for improvements. Maybe getting it to do what it should do would be a good starting point for improving it. I got no response here either. Absolute shambles.

Waiting lists please

Please bring back the waiting list option !

Booking system not the best

Waiting list is no longer available which means we’re not notified when a space is available. This isn’t idea, as some of us can’t regularly check our phones to see if a space does become available.

Tollcross great place to train, great friendly pleasant staff, always good atmosphere in the gym. But recently a lot of kids running around the gym in numbers hanging about equipment to busy take photos on phones. I’m all for encouraging youngsters who are interested in training, but not fair on staff to be babysitters.

Not working

I was only able to see available tennis slots before I was properly logged in - I managed to book one this way. A few seconds later after logging in all the other slots, of which there were many, disappeared. Surely a glitch?? I can’t now seem to log out of the app so can’t book anything else.

The app is terrible, but not as bad as the general management

The app is easy on the eyes. The downside is that it doesn’t work 90% of the time. What’s worse is that the ONLY way to book a tennis court at Kelvingrove park is through this rubbish app. How is there not a way to book through a website? How is it that calling won’t do either, even though they still have someone answering calls? The app needs to be improved, but so does general management. Absolute shambles

Tennis CAN be booked through our booking website at https://myglagow.club/book as well as the app. Sorry to hear you’re finding the app doesn’t work for you 90% of the time. Tennis is the bookable activity under present government guidelines and 100% of available courts are already booked (mainly via the app). This would suggest the app is working fine for the majority of users. Could it be that you’re tapping on white/grey slots and getting no response (which denotes they’re already booked)? We completely understand that demand outstripping availability must be very frustrating too. The fact we’re in lockdown with very limited numbers of staff make it impractical to open a phone booking service, particularly for one activity that’s already fully booked through our app and website. Hope this offers some insight.

Payment screen is very tedious...frustrating !

Please allow stored payment details or PayPal? Entering card details by scratch (number by number) every time I book something is tedious and a waste of time. You don’t even allow the iPhone to pre-populate card details. You can’t even pay for multiple bookings together!
I find the app works very well apart from this.

Thanks for your feedback. This issue is not with the app, but a limitation of the payment system our booking software is able to connect to. The vast majority of users are monthly paying members (for whom most activities are included) but we’ll keep working with our payment system provider to try and improve this for you.

Class Descriptions on Bookings

It’s pretty basic but does the job. One thing that I would like to see is descriptions when trying to book classes. Often I see new classes and have to go all the way back to the home screen to find out what the class involves.

“Non”refundable bookings

I did use this app quite a bit. Despite having to manually enter your bank card details every time you book something. What did it for mesas when I called the sports centre to cancel a court booking I had made, despite calling in advance to cancel it I was told that bookings made though the are are NON REFUNDABLE. I see no mention of this when I made the booking or anywhere else in the app.

Worst app ever

Don’t understand the point of this app. Doesn’t ever work. Can’t get it to load properly when trying to view classes. It times out more often than not. In the past two weeks I’ve tried every day and it has never worked. What’s the point? Get rid of it or fix this!! I am missing out on classes and spaces that come available in waiting lists!!!
