Very little data available in the UK. Needs a longer free period.
In theory, this is a handy little utility when shopping. But, since most products have a full ingredient list written on them, it's only a convenience.
Except that it's not (in the UK, at least). A three day free trial is enough to use it on a single shop, and I scanned a couple of dozen items.
I found no items with developer provided information. So I don't know what that looks like, and can't assess the quality of their information.
I found two items with crowdsourced information, and those had only a couple of votes each. One, containing honey, had a "yes" and a "no".
I made a few votes myself, so spent more time on my shop that otherwise. And I learned exactly nothing from the app.
Give people a longer free trial, or lower subscription prices, and perhaps they'll upload more data and make the app useful.

Bulls**t app!! SCAM!!
You scan a product and it asks if you think it’s vegan but won’t tell you if it’s actually vegan!! Cancelled the free trial straight away because of course, you can’t even scan something without accepting the free trial! Hope I don’t get charged anyway like so many other reviewers. Disappointed in myself for not reading the reviews first!!!

Terrible app that is a total waste of money. There are barely any recipes on it and I have yet to be told whether a product is vegan or not. When I try and scan a product it I asks me whether I think it is vegan or not. The whole point of me getting the app was so I was told whether or not it was a vegan product. Totally misleading.

PLEASE REPORT TO APPLE
PLEASE PEOPLE, go down the App Store page of this app and select « report a problem » to inform Apple this is a fraudulent product. This app is literally a scam. It’s a paid app with almost NOTHING on it: no useful resources, scanner barely works and just a few recipes. They make us pay 20$ straight away, the free trial DOESNT WORK, and their instructions to get a refund is a complete fraud, it doesn’t work. It seems like they’ve bought fake reviews to have this amount of 5*.

Doesn’t tell me if a product is vegan or not. $7 a week and it can’t even tell me if a product is vegan?
Misunderstood
The app is okay. Has some good recipes but I guess I misread the description. I thought if I scanned an item at the store, the app would tell me if it is vegan or not. It just asks me if I think it’s vegan and I’m like I don’t know, that’s why I’m scanning it to see! And I think the subscription is it a bit too much in my opinion. The app has potential.

Looks Nice but a bit Offensive
So “free w/ in-app purchases”? Sorry, but I couldn’t launch the app without a subscription. It immediately asks to start a 3-day, free trial. That’s the shortest free trial I’ve ever heard of. On top of that, I got the app to find out if something was vegan. I definitely felt that this item wasn’t and wanted to verify.
So, fire up the app, sign up for a subscription… as we all know, “Free trial” means subscription. It’s on you to cancel. Anyway, I scan the product and it asks me “Do you think this is vegan?”. Now, I understand that it’s crowd-sourced, but to expect someone to pay money to be like “What do you think? Three other people don’t think that it is.” is offensive. I can go on Reddit for crowd opinion without any verification and NOT pay $4.99/wk! (Default Subscription).
What stinks is that I’m sure there’s some value here that warrants a 4-star rating, but I’ll never see it. I’m immediately turned off by this ham-fisted subscription model and an app that asks me what I think when I’m looking for answers. Only my therapist can answer my questions with questions. I wanted to find if something was vegan…
not tell YOU (app) if it was. If I knew already I wouldn’t have wanted this app. Scanned lots of things with no results. Can’t give 0 stars, unfortunately.

Never worked! Every barcode I scanned I got the wheel of wait! Wanted to contact them for help but I couldn’t figure out how! I did find a email at the end of the terms of service. I googled it and there was a website that had a bunch of comments from other people having the same problems as I am from this company!
