How bad can you get. Think of all the things you need for teaching a language; clear discernible pictures, up to date conversational phrases, audio within easy reach to help you, well written and well explained instructions. Prepare to be festooned with garlands of absolutely NONE of these things and you won’t be disappointed!! What a pile of absolute rubbish on a stick! This is quite simply the worst educational tool I have ever encountered. It’s a total shambolic mess. Avoid it like the plague, purchase it at your peril!

Promising
Very clean interface but needs some updating. The app is crashing when I choosing some chapters/audio recordings and I can’t play them.
Audio no longer works
A good course, although the format of the app, as mentioned by others lets it down. However, now, for some reason, the audio no longer works and I can’t hear what I’m trying to learn. Disappointing, all in all.

My app isn’t working all of a sudden, either. When I click on the button to play my French, the program closes. Frustrating!
Poor app design let’s down an excellent course
The TY Complete Japanese book has the audio for the course in this app. The book is fantastic and well planned and the audio tracks are excellent. Unfortunately the app is a mess. The screen layout and navigation is unclear and compares badly with other published audio language components. You can’t download the audio to iTunes or your media player and can only access it through this app. Listening and re-listening to a track (a basic facility in any language course) is not intuitive and by no means a pleasure to use. I am sorry to say this as the course book is superbly designed. I hope TY will do something to bring the audio app library up to the high standards of its course books.

Not all of the languages are available on the audio library. This is the case especially with the “smaller” languages.
App keeps closing
The application keeps closing even after uninstall and reinstall. I have downloaded the audio for Language Hacking French and whenever I listen to 1.01 it stops. I click on 1.02 and the app closes. I just got the book and now I can’t use it.
Brilliant resource
I am finding this book and audio brilliant value for money and a really great resource for learning Swedish. The book has everything laid out really clearly and has lots of tips and the audio really clear. I think the audio would benefit from better chapter labelling to help you find your way easier but this would in no way stop me from recommending this to anyone else.

Missing language audio
Please make all complete languages audio available. A few notable ones missing are Serbian, Latvian, etc.
