Wasted time and money!

Please be aware that I had recently left a negative review on Yelp concerning your McIntyre Square location in Pittsburgh. Although you will no longer allow updates of reviews for your restaurants on Yelp, I was impressed by the response from both your corporate and local locations to my bad experience and your attempt to do the right thing and show that you did appreciate my business and expense. You did immediately apologize, offered to replace the incorrect items and professionally asked me to give you another chance. Although I could not update the yelp review, you did the right thing so I tried to do the right thing and have removed the negative review from their (Yelp) site. I have since been back to your restaurant on several occasions, and although you may not always be perfect, your people are sincerely showing that they are trying to get better and do the right thing.

Wasted time and money!

I would be very, very leery about ordering anything online from Primanti Bros I ate in at the McIntyre Square location just two days ago ordered corn, beef sandwiches and they came hot with toasted bread, rye. So I go online and order the same two sandwiches for lunch to pick up and I get all the way back to my location the sandwiches bread not toasted not even on the same bread that came on two days ago. And Cold, not even warm. They were made 15 minutes ago. Just wasted $25 plus tips. Call restaurant to see what happened and I’m getting excuses about well. We don’t normally cook this way. We don’t normally cook that way. Been eaten at Primanti brothers for 30 years. I know how they make the sandwich. don’t usually write a lot of reviews, but I’ll be letting everyone I know. Do not waste your money and definitely do not order takeout from Primanti Brothers unbelievable $25 plus gas plus time?

Didn’t even get the order right!

Ordered 18 bone in wings with celery and ranch through the app. We were notified the order would be ready so we clicked on our way. We waited at least twenty mins for our order. The sign outside said they would bring your order out to your car, they never did, we had to go inside and get it. And, there was nobody at the pick up desk! A patron told me my order was there. When we got home, what we got was not what we ordered- we ordered 18 bone in wings with celery &ranch - we got 10 boneless wings and no celery/ranch. What a disaster, very disappointed.

WORST CHEESESTEAK EVER

I ordered 2 cheesesteak bombs to go. When I got home I was so disappointed. There were 3 inches of empty bread on each end. The bread wasn’t even sliced so it couldn’t be filled anyway. It looked nothing like the photo which is loaded with steak. If you combined the steak from the 2 sandwiches it still would NOT look like the photo of a cheesesteak “bomb.” When I eat at the restaurant the food is decent (not awesome) but every time I’ve ordered take out the chef/cook totally scams the customer. It’s disgraceful - truly.

App needs a comments / request box.

The App needs fixed. “Error” messages keep popping up. I even tried to make a new account and the app gets stuck on the sign-up page. It requires that you choose a location, however no locations populate. You can’t continue sign-up without a response there.

Previous review— I wanted to add a ranch dressing and a cup of ice water to my order, but there is no comments or request box to do so. Otherwise, the app is fine.

Can’t check out

Have the order ready to send in, keep getting flagged for missing contact info. Closed app. Opened new order. Same issue, changed card (all are GTG BTW), same error.

Deleted app, reinstalled, same issue. This has happened the last three times - but never an issue before.

Is this a known bug?

Terrible Interface

I love Primanti’s but the new online ordering system is atrocious, it feels totally disjointed and separated, and sometimes switches orders to pickup when you’ve put delivery. I won’t stop ordering the sandwiches because they’re too dang good but this needs improved for sure.

Great food and service

Primanti’s is always my go to!! Always consistent with quality and taste👍 Service is always pleasant and quick. We order from the North Versailles location probably at least once a week. Love the family feasts! Can’t say enough about Primanti’s definitely a Pittsburgh favorite 😊

I especially ordered the buy 1 get 1 free from my email. It said for promotion to write Free Pizza on the ordering app. I did all that and hubby went to pick up and the girl didn’t know what he was talking about but instead gave him a free salad. Everything was good but we needed that extra free pizza for all the people that were visiting. I enjoy your restaurant and the food but I felt let down when I really needed you all.

Cancellation button does not work

I am very disappointed in the function of the app as the order cancellation button does not work. I placed an order and within seconds, less than 1 min, of placing the order I hit the cancellation button. However the cancellation button did not work. The app gave me a message the order was cancelled but it apparently did not work and the Monroeville location still processed the order. I have already disputed this charge to get a refund for the order that was cancelled. If a cancellation option is going to be available it needs to work.
