  • Keeps Your Drink at the right temperature!

    Whether you’re drinking coffee or tea, the ember mug will keep it at the right temperature. As you continue drinking your beverage, you can decide to lower the temperature. Using the app on the phone is fantastic. This allows you to adjust the temperature as you drink your beverage. So when you near the end of the cup, you can lower the temperature so if you have any cream in your coffee, it doesn’t get too hot. The trick I found using the cup is to open the application first on your phone and make sure you have a cup that is empty on the application dialogue. Then fill your cup with hot coffee right from the machine. I use a Kcup machine. you will notice the temperature rise on the application on your phone. Then I’ll add cream and the temperature typically goes down but then adjust the temperature to 142 which is where I like it within seconds and I’m ready to drink my coffee ☕️. As I get beyond the halfway point in the cup, I turn the temperature down to about 135 so I highly recommend this cup to anyone who likes to drink a hot beverage and keeps hot for at least two hours. I’ve tried other brands and they simply don’t compare and we’re much more complicated to use. I also have a Ember Travel mug, which works great as well. The difference is it has temperature settings right in the side of the mug or you can use the app if you’d like. Ember did a great job making this product and it’s well worth the money.

  • Long time Ember user

    I have been a long time Ember user- had the first ones they produced. It is a fantastic addition to my warm beverage routines. I now have several different sizes and styles. It’s funny how you get used to having your beverage at that perfect temperature and if you travel or have a warm beverage without it you forget how quickly it cools down in a normal cup. The Ember App makes it easy to customize the temperature for different things which is nice. I do find it challenging at times because the Bluetooth connection does not always work seamlessly but this could be due to the multiple Ember devices.
    It is nice to have two of the charging coasters - I keep one near the coffee pot and then one at my desk so when I am working the mug stays charged.
    One feature that would be cool is if the mug could determine the volume remaining and have the option to modify the temp based on the amount remaining. It seems like when there is a 1/3 or less amount of coffee remaining that the temp gets hotter for the liquid and it starts to steam quite a bit.

  • Greatest Invention for Hot Drink Lovers !!!

    My Husband used to zap his Coffee in the Microwave at LEAST 3 times while drinking his morning coffee to keep it hot . IMO, if you zap Coffee that has milk in it that many times it becomes awful! Our Daughter gave him his first 10 oz Ember for Christmas 4 years ago. He loved it so much that he decided 6 or 8 months later it was too small and bought himself the 14 oz Ember Mug. Hooray for me🎉, that meant I got the Hand Me down! Fast Forward to Christmas 2022, I got a RED 14 oz Ember. I LOVE THAT MUG. My Tea stays Hot for at least an Hour. Now Christmas 2023 rolls around and I found the deal of all deals on an Ember at Target. I replaced his now VERY STAINED 14 oz White Ember with a 14oz Black Ember! I got smart now and bought the MUG BRUSH - a MUST to get the stains out. (Magic Eraser works fabulously on stains too - I got that info when I called Ember for suggestions on getting stains out) It is very expensive but really worth the money !
