Unusable. :(

Constant static and lagging. Using an iPad mini 2. Also every time I click the help icon it crashes

Sounds glitchy like latency issues

All of the loops I play sound glitchy through this app even with zero fx going and at the proper loop tempo.

My favourite!

It’s easy to overlook an app and realise it’s true potential. This is a great example of doing so. It’s one of the few iPad music making apps that actually takes into account the iPad itself. It hands on fun! Initially I found it confusing but after I got stuck in I discovered how truly brilliant it is. Personally I don’t get on with traditional DAWS, particularly on the iPad, largely due to the fact that I have very little technical ability. What I lack in that department I like to think I make up for in a general knowing what sounds good kind of way. This app is perfect for that. Play with sound and put it in order. I get the feeling it’s something that could be mastered like an instrument. The bottom line: It’s great fun making music!

Performance dream

As much as I adore creating electronic music I’ve always felt that it’s not immediate enough, or tactile enough to perform with. This app is amazing, thank you soooo much. I can now switch up parts, create spontaneous builds, glitch the hell out and REALLY perform.

I use a lot of hardware as I want/need that tactile control when writing, now I can take my stems and perform them all together. One thing I hope that does improve is the responsiveness of the stab pads, I tried finger drumming some snares and it was not good.

The future, right now.

First impressions are that this app is deeper than a coal mine, not always intuitive, but offering vast potential. Both for live use and recording/ creative endeavours. It feels to me like a cross between what Blocs Wave should have become, and the better bits of BeatMaker 3. What I would love to see added, is a way to use AU3 effects on a per sample and/or per scene basis. If such wonderment is feasible?

Fantastic

Stunningly good.

Works great on my iPad Pro 10.5. Very grateful that the devs are focused on higher end devices!

External midi problem

Hi, I’m loving this app and think it’ll be a great tool for a live DAWless set up but I am currently having proper issues setting up the midi to an external drum machine, rolandTR8s. It doesn’t sync to clock even when I select the correct ports and midi channels. External midi works a dream with apps such as Patterning, I just wish you could fix this small error.
Many thanks, I look forward to an update as I really want to use this app live.

Response from developer

hey! glad you like Jamm. Midi clock sync is not supported, but we have successfully synched gear as you suggest , using the free linktomidi app. or, a hardware solution like the 'missing Link' box. Hope this helps and all the best with your jamming.

Great app!

Been jamming with this since it came out. Used it live already without any issues. The app still needs some tweaking but I have faith that the developer will keep at it.

Does not work! It crashes all the time! Unable to load packs!

And I wonder will this app ever work considering the fact how
often this developer updates its apps and the app complexity.
JammPro is very complex app with huge possibilities.
Ninja Tune is not new name for me. I have Ninja Jamm app and
some music packs that I purchased for it. This app works very well but it needs update. I am afraid Ninja will kill the app. With JammPro I expected more freedom to import my loops and Ninja did it but unfortunately app does not work. I hope Ninja will fix the problem and I will then update my review.

Too many clicks and crackles for my taste

On paper this app appeals to me in every way but once I got up and running i experienced too many clicks and crackles to be functional on an iPad Pro Gen 1 running iOS 13. I’m guessing everybody's got the latest hardware and my iPad is too old now.
