Leave a Review Miaomiao's Chinese For Kids
Free YouTube videos better than the app
This was a waste of money. I’d give zero stars if I could. There’s a very limited selection of chinese vocabulary to learn and is no better than a flash card for each word, with a finger tracing section. It doesn’t provide any context to the kids for the words they are looking at, nothing to make it interesting to learn. The only good thing about this app is I found the YouTube video as they put up in mostly all English with a featured chinese phrase if the day. The videos were good.Show lessThe best app so far
My child fell in love with the cartoon on YouTube this summer so we were delighted to learn there was an associated app once school started this fall!! She attends a mandarin immersion school so we use this app as an enrichment tool. Thanks for informing us about how to fix the sound issue. We kept deleting and reinstalling v it going that would fix what we thought was a software bug! So glad there’s a simple explanation and solution -whew!!
Will it be available on androids soon ? She takes my iPhone to play now.Show lessExcellent for beginners and native speakers
The quality of the cartoons and app interface are excellent. It’s easy to understand - and if you choose “Learn English” instead of the “Learn Chinese” option, all episodes will be predominantly in Mandarin and intro English words. (As a parent with native speaking kids, this is my preferred option.) I was pleased to partner with Miaomiao and try out their apps.Show less
