A great app!
I followed WRTI through their website for a few months before I realized they had an app. The layout is simple and I find all the programming interesting. Compared to other music playlists or stations, I enjoy how the pieces selected truly cover all genres of instrumental and opera music instead of just the recognizable works.

Excellent app. User friendly, never buffers, and, unlike many other stations’ apps, no annoying message/advertisement every time you open it. One of the better jazz stations out there

This is a review for the app, not the station.
The app is simple. I don’t use it for anything but to listen to the station. It could just be two buttons, one to listen to classical and the other for jazz, and I’d be happy.

One of the best radio stations in America
WRTI is so good! I’ve lived or driven in about 40 states in the US and I would put this in my top three music radio stations of all time. If they play a classical or Jazz song you’re not in the mood for, you can just switch to the other one.
Favorite Radio Station Anywhere
WRTI is truly fantastic on the radio, and the audio is so clear on the app! With the ability to switch from classical to jazz music there is always a choice selection. The radio station, itself, has an unparalleled amount of both genres. Along with a great core of on-air personalities to give it a touch of humanity, and occasional NPR updates it has a little bit of everything.

Several public radio stations use this base software with each station’s customization. It’s always excellent in the streaming department. Also like all the additional information provided on WRTI’s customization of the app.
BEST Classical and Jazz station in the U.S.
I love this station! I adore listening to classical music during my work commute and during the day. I enjoy the jazz at night as well. The selections are always interesting and there is enough variety that I don’t feel like I am listening to a Sirius station of Best Classical hits. I want to hear all of the works of the great composers, not just the popular ones. Thank you WRTI!

Love being able to listen to jazz around the country
App is mostly okay - main benefit is access to music I love from a source I trust. Sometimes a little glitchy to find past programs or playlists but maybe that’s just user error? Overall grateful to have this resource.

programing, and the classical program after WRTI inherited the
classical music from WFLN (which I also listened
to for years) I now live in North Jersey and consider myself
fortunate to be able to still listen to WRTI by way of the app.
