Stuck

I’m stuck in a check in screen. I do t want to be there. No way to get out. And to make matters worse the link to the developer web page is broken so no way to get help.

I’m also finding the maps lacking in content. Mt Shasta does not show up on the street view. Have to hit the satellite screen to find a mountain that is massively dominant on the land scape.

So not very user friendly

Love it—minor quirk makes it very difficult to use on iPhon 12 Pro

I love this app—I’m new but already noticed that on an iPhone 12 Pro the buttons on the top and bottom of the screen are obscured by the time (left) and service, WiFi and battery icons (top right) making it almost impossible to click the “back” or “submit” buttons. Is there a way to address this in a future update? This issue makes submitting observations very cumbersome. Thanks for reading this! -C

So frustratingly close

The app is good but the most interesting aspect is that it gathers strikes and dips that everyone takes and puts it on a world map.

The issue is, you can’t view that information. You can only see that people Have taken a strike/dip not what it is. It’s so infuriating that they would tease you sayin “hey there’s some useful information here, it’s a shame you don’t get to see it”.

Very good overall

This app is very good overall. It very detailed and up to date geological maps for the United States. But internationally, I think it could be improved. For example, in Mexico, the maps only give very vague information. The maps provided by the Mexican Geological Service, are much more accurate and give more information about the geology of Mexico.

Won’t load up

Worked first day and now it won’t load up

Absolutely Phenomenal!

As a geology major and enthusiast, this app is a godsend. No matter where you are, this app will tell you the geologic unit beneath you, its age, composition, the fossils contained within, and even what the Earth looked like when it was laid down. Couldn’t ask for a better geo app.

Not n identifier

Really cool if you found a new thing. Not so cool to identify a thing you already had. Perhaps make an actual “identifier”? Maybe it has one but wasn’t obvious in the first minutes. Money maker clue ... upload images of your rock = could be one of these....

Feature request

Could you add a way to move the dashboard information to a new location? I would love to explore paleogeography or fossils in an area other than my current location

Was working great but...

I’ve been using this APP for several months and found it to be extremely helpful in field and office. Very intuitive and easy to use until the last update. Suddenly the geological overlay now won’t upload to the base map and several other functions have seemingly gone dead. As of now only the compass and clinometer work. Even the tutorial has gone wonky. Hope this gets addressed soon otherwise I won’t be needed this app or recommending it to students.
