  • Outstanding Looper App!

This looper does pretty much everything everything my RC-600 and Headrush Looperboard can do, but without all the bugs. The layout makes perfect sense, unlike Loopy Pro that seems to need endless tinkering. The documentation is excellent, and right there within the app. I love it!

I would however like to see a couple small refinements (it is possible I’ve overlooked them), but the ability to toggle a hosted app to the foreground and back via midi would be awesome, especially to access my AUv3 tuner in a handsfree way. It would also be nice to have the ability to have a constant click guide apart from the Rhythm (DigiStix2 Drums in my case), so the drums could go in and out without losing the click guide.

  • Best looper by far

This software is a beast, it works awesome, and more bells and whistles then you would ever hope for. The MIDI works perfect and locks in tight with my BeatBuddy drum machine. The interface is easy to maneuver and you can also add a Bluetooth foot pedal if you your hands free. The sound is spot on along with each loop having it’s own volume dial. I really recommend this. A+

  • Should Get an Award!

This is no half a$$ed app! This is what excellent design and execution looks like. Worth the cost of an iPad. (Well, almost)
  • It is a ba price of gear

Thinking about hooking it up to my podhd500x & selling my looperboard, if the pod works, woohoo That’d be the dopestest, Need to figure out the best way to hook up the midi so we shall see
  • Best looper app for live music performance (so far)

I am using an IPad Air, with AUM, routing channels (mainly with AUV3 apps) to Quantiloop Pro, using the IAA outputs. Then I have Quantiloop Pro on its own channel in AUM, routed to my Mistress output channel.

I had tried I think all the popular looper apps. Traditionally I have used hardware loop pedals for live music performances but found most looper apps too “clever” with fancy graphical interfaces. What I really needed was a looper app that mimics what I do with the pedals and Quantiloop Pro is the only one I have found that does this. Actually, in terms of functionality, it’s better (aside from latency) when combined with a Bluetooth pedal.

I think Quantiloop Pro’s interface is good, it’s fairly intuitive, easy enough to see everything or find it, not too cluttered. I would like it to look less like a cheap pedal though, maybe some themes, but this is a very minor point. Having the button to switch back to the host, is really useful (amazingly, some apps do not have this and I have to swipe back which sometimes can mess up settings).

Latency and sound quality seems reasonable, it doesn’t see, to add anything noticeable to the latency.

I really like the way I can route inputs to multiple loops, and also have it output individual loops rather than just the main output.

Great that there is a built in reverse effect, also the ability to host other AUV3 effects.

I think the spike in learning has mainly been to do with switching, holding pedals etc.

I would have given this 5 stars, but, I have a problem, and sadly it can be pretty bad.

Sometimes, when I try to record another loop, usually when there are already 3 running, the other loop displays (where the waveforms are) freeze and at best there is a delay in the interface updating (so I cannot see that it is recording or where I the loop progress. At worst, it doesn’t record the new loop at all. Actually worse than that, I have had the whole thing crash on me, crashing the IAA outputs in AUM as well. I have only been able to recover by restarting everything. This has happened in them middle of a live performance, so it’s not good.

I am trying to figure out a simpler set up, to see if it stops this from happening, but don’t really want to sacrifice too much, so it’d be great if this bug could be captured, tested and fixed.

  • Best Looper

My favorite looper, build like a tank. A few xtra tracks in the future, 6 or 8, and it would be a absolute loopy pro killer….
  • Perfect Combination

Quantiloop for me is the perfect combination of features and complexity. I find it very intuitive with a learning curve which is manageable.I have had hardware and software loopers but Quantiloop is my looper of choice.

It is very easy to get started with friendly useful features. It is geared toward live looping and that is what I am interested in doing. It plays well with other apps and hosts as well as standalone.

Worth every penny of it’s extremely low purchase price.
All the features of several hardware loopers with a preset system.
    It is a win win.

  • The best looper

You'd think with all the expensive loopers available for macOS that one would be better than Quantiloop. But on my M1 Pro Mac Quantiloop is the best. Just wish it wasn't so obviously an iPad app and that I could use it as an audio unit in MainStage
  • Good replacement for a hardware looper pedal plus more

Quantiloop Pro is probably the most feature-rich looper app for iOS. It is especially useful for people that are used to hardware looper devices, as it’s basic functionality is the same. However - there is so much more you can do with QL, including hosting AUv3 effects and instruments and really deep customisation.

  • Love it

This is a great looper and appropriate for a variety of applications. This is a deep program so it may take some time to understand it fully. That time however will be well spent.

Updated review… still give it 5 stars. Buy with confidence! I use this app often and it’s great… I love it!
