  • Outstanding

I Love this app. It has become my go to looper, sketch pad recorder. Recording drum loops is a breeze as well as guitar riffs, it handles audiobus, audio units, Iaa host, its a monster of an app. Do yourself a favor even if your not in the market for a looper you won’t be sorry.
  • Just like the real thing, only better!

This app, when paired with a Midi pedal, is just like the real thing but so much better. Freshly downloaded it just works perfectly if you know how a regular looper pedal works. And then if you really know what you are doing you can customize it to ridiculous levels!

If you are a guitarist especially, this app is well worth the money if you already have an interface, an amp simulator and a pedal. It works without the pedal but is so much better with one!

  • Great Ambient Looper!

I’m sure this will appeal to more conventional type loopers, but it’s also awesome for more ambient style looping and soundscapes. With the dub settings and decay time options, I’m constantly surprised at what I can accomplish with just one track!
  • Simple, yet powerful!

I grew up using a Tascam PortaStudio 2, and Quantiloop Pro's 4-track operation is a joy and breeze to record my ideas with. With MIDI, Audiobus, and Ableton Live integration, what more does one need to stay creative and get your looping chops back in order! I highly recommend Quantiloop Pro!
  • Ultimate Looper

Been looping on the stand for 4 years using RC300 and RC505. Started using this app and decided to sell both old hardware loopers. This tool is way better with great functionality to tie it to pro iOS drum apps. Only wish is for it to be able to send midi patch change commands to drum apps. Hard to top.

  • Favourite looper

Easy to get on with, intuitive interface and good support. All the features I need (and more ).
  • Quantiloop Customer service

    Hi to all :),
This is my first ever App Store review.
The Quantiloop app in itself is Nothing short of amazing. When I first open the app I had a rough start getting operations to go (most issues were because of the operator of the app ) and had to call tech-support. The reply from tech-support was extremely fast and very thorough and attentive to the issue that I was having and was cleared up immediately. I’ve asked questions about certain operations that I wanted for myself with the app and All replies were timely and extremely helpful I give this app a five star rating and highly recommend it to any individual.

  • Guitar-inspired looping brought to iOS

Quantiloop Pro is an app that I somehow missed for months upon its initial release, but is fast becoming one of my favorite and most productive iOS music apps. While it continues to evolve and may benefit from a few added features, it’s already an immensely valuable music creation tool.

You can work entirely in Quantiloop and route instruments and audio source using hardware connection, IAA, or AU instruments. There are effect slots that can be applied to the entire project, or to specific tracks, tweaked, and turned on/off during playback. You get 4 “tracks”, plus a hidden 5th track - a rhythm section that can either be a simple metronome, an imported loop from an audio file, or another IAA/AU connection playing a drum machine app. All of it works flawlessly, including the options to link up tempo across various apps, and time stretching if you later decide to change the BPM setting.

This pedal is laid out and conceived like a $200+ guitar looper pedal, but its functionality is far greater. That’s thanks to the wealth of synths, drum apps, and effects we have in iOS. Loop a series of guitar phrases over one another for a mind-bending arpeggio. Program a complex drum pattern by looping and overdubbing one instrument at a time. Or turn a monophonic app or hardware synth into a polyphonic instrument by overdubbing single notes into chords. You’re only limited by your own imagination. When you are done, you could route the whole project into another app, or bounce individual audio tracks into a DAW.

    FUTURE SUGGESTIONS:
The app has already come a long way since initial release and all the time I was ignorant of its existence. I would note two additional features that help at this time, though I’m sure there are many others:

    (1) A simple internal keyboard, similar to the app “AUM”, that could allow on-device control of AU instruments without leaving Quantiloop.

    (2) Support for AU MIDI. This is an emerging class of apps (of which “Rozeta” by BramBos is the best current example) that could be placed in a MIDI control/sequencer slot to control AU instruments.

Thanks for your great work so far on this excellent app, and looking forward to seeing where Quantiloop goes next. (Note: There is a free demo version if you want to try some of the basic functionality before buying).

  • Best Looper on iOS

I have owned multiple loop pedals and tried most of the iOS loopers. This is the first one that has me considering selling my Boss hardware looper. It does everything my Boss looper does and more plus because it is software based it is much easier to setup and use. Took me just a few minutes to setup my midi pedal and the ability to play along with my existing drum apps through IAA is great!

  • Unbelievable app, unbelievable support

I’ve probably Facebook messages Stephan far more than I should. He’s always been quick to reply and always helpful with suggestions and even a new feature (looper bypass effect).

It’s a really powerful app and is enabling me to forgo AB3 (even though I bought it already) as I can channel all input extremely will with the built in controls and through external apps using IAA.

I’m still at the beginning stages of looping, but I am confident I can achieve the style I want using this app. It allows me to create verse, chorus, bridge sections really easily.

Very happy customer. When you consider the features available... this app is underpriced! (although I’m very happy with the price :P…)
