  • Fantastic - simple and solid but with huge potential

I’ve tried so many ways to achieve the looping workflow I desire. Quantiloop is the first looper I’ve used which provides a great balance between routing flexibility and getting all the key controls you need, and an interface which feels like using a reliable hardware looper.

It’s great on it’s own with audio unit sources and FX, but combined with AUM, I’ve creating my dream looping setup, with pre and post Quanitloop processing The thoughtfulness which has gone into this app is astounding. There are great details like being able to mute certain inputs on the fly to avoid feedback in live situations - this to me shows it’s been worked out by someone who understands the usual pitfalls of live looping under pressure.

    Excellent!

  • Full of features

I have tried different apps and this is the one that I use with the iRig Blueboard. The only thing that I have not figured out is how to to play without any sync. When chooing the free mode, the first track is limited to 10 s. The app always tries to divide the track into measures. Othewise, very flexible and comprehensive looper!

    Developer Response

To not play with a tempo/measures. Disable tempo sync in the track settings
  • Awesome

I’ve used every iOS looper and I’m pretty sure that this is the best. The interface is excellent as all immediate controls and info are clearly visible. It does everything that a hardware looper can do , but much better. This developer is clearly a musician as this is not gimmicky, just a very well conceived and useable looper , just the audio routing options alone are a joy for users who want to employ multiple inputs from their audio interface with control over individual monitoring, impressive. Not gigged it live yet but have high hopes. Really impressed so far.

  • Even better with each update.

I haven’t even bothered to see what QL’s competition is doing anymore.
  • This is exactly what I needed

Aside from being an amazing looper for guitar, this app is just what I needed to trigger samples and backing tracks using a midi foot pedal. I’m now able to switch between samples for verses, choruses, and bridges very easily. Great customization in the app itself and it all is very simple to understand. And the support for the app is stellar.

  • New favorite looper

I stumbled on this app about two weeks ago and I’ve been down a rabbit hole ever since! I paired it with a Focusrite interface with 10 outputs and have discrete outs for all four tracks in stereo plus whatever I’m feeding into the input.
This is HUGE! I have been thinking about a looper with discrete outputs for many years. I run it in sync with my DAW and ended up with a session that is very editable and way more useful in composition than loops that are stuck together in one pair of outputs.
The time stretching sounds really good also. Combine these features with the slew of triggering and sync and IO options and you end up with the most complete looping solution I have ever come across. I have them all from the Echoplex Digital Pro through the crazy EHX offerings. They can’t hold a candle to this app.

  • Holy Cow!

It’s the looper of my dreams! Once I figured out I could use it with my Line 6 Helix via the camera connector adapter, my world has been forever changed.
  • The best

Hands down the best and closest thing to a real hardware looper. Works extremely well with KMI softstep midi foot pad.Cant wait to have more tracks in a future update to really be able to utilize this on stage .
  • Better than hardware loopers so far

After giving up on hardware loopers, I gave this software a try. It has features that you only wish hardware loopers to have and if one day they do, you have to pay a lot. Don’t believe me, download it and try the demo version. I test it with JamUp Pro, iRig HD 2 and these drum software: Drum Beats+, Rock DM and DM. I created a track for drum, another for guitar rhythm and a third track for lead guitar. I was able to use different length for each track. Drum sync worked well and quantization behaved correct. Learning curve is not steep.
