Best looper for my current needs.And fun too!
I’ve done a few gigs with Quantiloop Pro. They were of an ambient nature with a few pre-recorded tracks and live looping in Free mode. Great fun, easy to use after viewing the YouTubes to understand the flexibility of the app. Sometimes I would load a prerecorded track into the Rhythm looper, giving me 5 playback possibilities. On the iPad Pro I would sometimes overload the cpu if I have too many plugins or resource hungry plugins installed in Quantiloop. I’m looking forward to what the developer will implement in the future! A small suggestion - the YouTube on the very basics is shown on an old version of Quantiloop. An updated YouTube on the basics might be helpful to people starting out with the newest version of Quantiloop.Show lessGlassDoc

Still learning to use all the features. But coming from a hardware looper, looking for something I don’t have to plug into AC, this looper is excellent. I love it so far. Need to try it in a live gig after I master it. But right now it does everything I want it to doSkidmarker

This is the first review I’ve left for any app, and just thought I had to say ... well done !
I’ve been on the hunt for a looper that matches the flexibility of the looper in Ableton, and have spent a fortune on pedals that all had something, but not the whole package.
What you have here is a well thought out, and very professional looper. Looking forward to setting up my Behringer fcb1010 with it and will be using it for live performances, all being well.

Excellent Highway MPG & Improved Automatic Transmission
With a 3.4 liter V6 engine that touts 6000 highway mpg, Quantilooper Pro is much @‘more than a multitrack looper. The visual interface comes with a hue slider so the color can be changed whenever you feel the need, which for me was the biggest issue with Loopers I’ve had/still use/used in the past ... if they can’t change hue in the moment, then they probably sound horrible, which is not the case so much for my DittoX2 by TC Electronics, but it can’t hold as many passengers as the Quantilooper Pro.
but seriously... it’s a pretty big music production app that gets a lot of things right as it pushes the limit of possibilities for what a looper should be.Show lesstranscendentalaccidentalism
This App Is Incredible.
The funny thing is that Quantiloop is SO much more than THE fantastic multi-track looper you need. It has some great built-in features. I use the “Transpose” effect as my bass guitar. I use the Lumbeat Soft Drummer. I toy with the MANY AUV3 effects and instruments. It’s. Just. Crazy. That all of these features are available in an app. Crazy.
Thanks to the developer for realizing a vision that everyone can use! The midi controls are simple to assign. I’m using the AirTurn BT200S-6. The only “real” work I’ve had to do is getting the “right” (gotta tweak everything, right?) signal from my audio interface. I’m using the Presonus Studio 26c 2x4, but I know there are several lower cost options out there that sound good and will work just as well.
This app is tremendous for the super low cost! There’s nothing you can’t do with this app as a musician and singer who performs live.Show lessCJFlu
BLOWS Loopy HD AWAY!
After YEARS and YEARS of trying to make Loopy really work for me and just be fun and easy.... Jeezus: THIS app popped immediately. Within 30 minutes, no manual, no Googling, I had it doing stuff I'd given up on with Loopy. Even replaces that awful arrangement when you try to use Aum with Loopy, and have to run them both in Audiobus to do so?!? It's as if Q-pro has a lite version of AB built in, with 4 inputs (that can be APPS, with their own App Effect in the chain). And don't even get me started about that midi controller nightmare that Loopy is. I'll never get back THOSE hundred hours.Show lessDanceHer
A very powerful tool
Let me start with a con. It can be difficult to set up and learn. But having said that, it is the most powerful looper that I have used. All it takes is the willingness to put in the effort to learn it. When used with a MIDI Controller it is more like learning and setting up a piece of hardware. Once learned, used with a KMI SoftStep, I can switch from track to track, bank to bank, preset to preset, song to song effortlessly and flawlessly with a touch of a pedal. Really Nice Looper With Great Features “not a toy”
I’ve used several IOS loopers which were pretty good. This one is very good. Provides professional features but easy for the novice to learn. So far Ive had to learn quite a bit from the manual which is well written and easy to follow. Highly recommend reading the manual just to makes sure you dont miss anything. I havent really found anything to complain about but Im still learning. If you are familiar with Loopers definitely try this one.Show lessRhmachote

I cannot describe how excited I was when I found this app in the App Store.
When I did a casual search to see if anyone had created a looper app similar to the Boss RC-300 hardware unit, a link to Quantiloop appeared.
I’ve been a professional, full time, musician who uses the RC-300 in my live rig for over 5 years now. It’s what I do for a living.
So my standards for what a looper must do are not on a hobbyist level. Quantiloop Pro delivered first class performance at a ridiculously low price point for me.
I had been working on my own software version of the RC-300 for over 4 years in my spare time. Once I found this, I abandoned the project happily. Stephen’s work is elegant. It’s beautiful. And it’s FAST!
So, if you’re looking for a professional quality, full function, rock stable looper, get Quantiloop Pro.
