Great Software- Resident mobile app needed

I’ve been reading a lot of reviews on this app and I have to say I think the user training is lacking for some not at the fault of Vantaca. It offers A LOT but you have to put in the hours to learn the system. The system is like a “build your own” to a certain extent. Users should reach out to their upper management or “super users” for a problem. Many of these reviews look like internal issues.

I think it’s a great application and once you learn how to navigate, it reduces the amount of work for property managers immensely! For example it takes a 30-90 second follow up email to a vendor and makes it a 1 second button click. The tech savvy can really thrive with this.

With that said…It is harder from some of the older folks in the company I work at to use this, but any software that is 100% online based will do that. If your company primarily consists of 55+ who have trouble with computers I don’t suggest using this software unless you are ready to have a team dedicated to helping them through a long transition period.

I do agree that an app version needs to be developed for residents to view their accounts, submit requests, etc. We are in a “mobile age” and I think the lack of a phone application for residents sets them back.

Can’t add CCR items

I can’t add a CCR item for a violation after selecting step type. As soon as I select friendly notice or final notice it disappears as an option which renders me using the apps on my violation walks completely useless. Please fix this as I do violation walks on a weekly basis!

Not user friendly

A complex program that is not user friendly. Takes a lot of training to use efficiently.

Poor execution

Recently started using Vantaca for work. PC works fine however the mobile app on my iPad and iPhone will not recognize my Login information worthless to me

Poor quality

The location service is horrible and needs to include a map, often in an associate there will be units that can be in the same street but not part of the association, you basically need to carry a paper plot map to ensure you are looking at the right addresses.

Depending on your service connection the app is very laggy and often will not properly load.

The integration was very bad and most of the CCR info does not match the violation.

Unable to clear open violations in the field. I have been in 5g service and when I open a violation to try and close it it will take 40 seconds to load and then it just loads a blank page.

Essential you might as well just carry a note pad and manual write everything down then return to the office to input information.

When reading all the inline information for Vantaca all I find is I do about their growth and plans to make money, they never talk about how they are improving the quality of the program or the app. All and all this is a waste of money and time. The zen desk does not carry answers to most questions either. Don’t waste your time. This is a pure cash grab.

Need a board member portal

Board members need Notifications and the ability to respond to action items. It would also be useful to be able to access all of the same files on the website.

Not for homeowners or board members

Please consider creating an app for users such as homeowners and board members.

App Needed for Board Members/Homeowners

The online portal does not function with portable devices including iPads. Please develop an app for board members and homeowners as well.
