The layout is crammed with tables, buttons, menus and idiosyncratic icons but I get really frustrated because I can’t seem to find even the basics without spending hours of trial and error “poke and hope”.
I’m sure there is incredible detail there just waiting to be found but my life is just too short to waste in the search for its holy grail.
Suggestion: Perhaps the developers could run training courses on using the app, but I’d recommend they restrict the course to under a week.

While looking at a local forecast and I want to rezoom the map to see what the bigger picture is while the details are displayed, the app now will too easily select another point rather than zooming or repositioning the map center. This is a bit annoying, any chance to address it? Thanks!!

Best weather-link
Windy gives very precise and accurate weather-information/prediction all over the world. This being Trans-Atlantic/Pacific or Indian Ocean, Windy covers it all. Which include ocean-current information, which is very important for a Trans-Ocean voyage.
I hardly use any other weather-sources, as Windy covers it all.
I will highly recommend Windy!
During a voyage from Ushuaia, Argentina to Malaga, Spain, small vessel, I used only Windy for weather-information .
The voyage spanned from late fall in Argentina across the tropics and into the Mediterranean.
As the weather was very challenging for the entire voyage including the Doldrums I learned to trust Windy 100%. Very precise.
Likewise during my last trans-Atlantic with a mid-size cruise-vessel, sailing from Barcelona via several other ports, then from Funchal, Madeira to St. Maarten, D.W.I.
Began to check the conditions several days prior to the Atlantic voyage, -planned the crossing as per weather-update from Windy. Very accurate predictions and voyage done very successful.
Thank You Windy for bring the best weather-information needed.
I anger with NASA launch-center Cape Canaveral, Windy is great.

Great weather information on Windy
Being able to track rain, wind, swell and a host of other weather conditions puts it above all other weather tool.
Needs a tide feature … or maybe I’ve missed this?

All Aviation Parameters Quickly
I use Windy in my Aviation work in offshore passenger transport and Search And Rescue (SAR). I quickly retrieve surface and low level winds, swell, sea surface temperature and the storm data above if cellular signal or offshore WiFi are available. My situational awareness in-flight is greatly improved. I would highly suggest any pilot add this app to your EFB and use the pin function for your most used overlays. Thanks, Windy crew, for being the best one-stop-shop out there.
