WX data does not update
Every time I open this app the WX data is out of date. Does anyone know how to make it refresh? Hey developers... Using old METARS is a serious safety issue.
Update: The developer got back to me on this. They informed me that the data could be updated by swiping down on the screen. Who knew? This is an app for aviation weather. Kind of important to pilots in the air, that the weather reports are accurate and up to date. When a pilot opens the app, the first thing it should do is update the data.Show lessTommy not Happy

Dear Tommy, thank you for your feedback. You can refresh the METAR data by holding your finger on the METAR or airport screen and swiping it down. A circular loading icon should start appearing as you are sliding the screen downwards. All the data should become updated after a few second in case you have available internet connection. If the METAR is still not updated however, then please send us an email to info@fymapps.com and tell us on which airports do you experience this problem. If on all of them then please let us know what device and iOS version are you using. We hope to resolve your problem as soon as possible. This is the method what almost all the applications use from web browsers to professional apps. If we frequently check for and download all the weather data, we will drain the battery and data plan of our users in a very short time. Therefore, a compromise is necessary regarding the automatic update's frequency. Metars include the time of their release. If it's out of date and the app has not updated it yet then you can just use the ordinary refresh gesture.A+

Would rate higher but app forces you to watch a 30” video to get to metar or TAF reports every time you click on them.destroyer of plants
Can’t even look at airport without being interrupted by being forced to view ad
Useless to call this app free when you can’t even view one airport to see what is available in the app. Not a good way to even consider deciding whether pro is worth the money since I can’t view what may be available on pro.
Your best bet is to get Nav Monster or some other quality app that doesn’t cost anything and you get all you need for a safe flight without a formal briefing. FltPlan is another app where you can get airport data for free and even file a flight plan.Show lessAllen Lieberman

Dear Allen Lieberman, Thank you for sharing your opinion with us. The data of the first airport you add is supposed to be visible without any distraction. From that on, you either have to watch a short ad after each new airport you add, or upgrade to pro version. We can see how it might be somewhat uncomfortable however, this way we can provide the full functionality of the app to a much wider audience for free.It is quick and easy view

Installed and added two airports to try it out. It immediately started to nag for money before I could even begin to evaluate it. Removed (deleated) it in less than a minute after installing.æfjujgtuftvuk
Great info/ app ! but needs 1 upgrade
Just getting started with this app and I like the information provided - plenty for my VFR lifestyle !
The one issue I have is using this app on my plane dash mount / home IPad ——— it won’t work in a portrait position on an IPad, only in landscape mode..
it ( the app) would be perfect if I could use it in landscape as the pad is mounted — it DOES - work on an iPhone in landscape .... aaauuuggghhh ! LoLShow lessFlyinArmadillo

Very useful on the flight to/from OSH. It enabled an overfly of a planned fuel/wax check stop. Saved time.Still IMC
