Great experience, smooth process and user friendly!

I usually don’t write any reviews, in fact this is my first one, but Taxfix’s overall experience really convinced me on many levels. From the beginning until the submission of the form, it took me from step to step, making everything as clear as possible so that no errors are made. Every section of the tax return was categorised and progress could be checked as well. If anything was unclear, which usually happens a lot with tax returns, it was explained with simple language. I’m very happy with the app experience and I’m glad that filing tax returns is not an ever draining experience anymore. I will definitely keep using it and can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Incredibly easy

Honestly takes about five minutes and works like a charm! Very helpful especially for immigrants.

Great experience with Taxfix. It made it very easy and convenient to do my taxes in such a short time. I felt slightly disgruntled because I just use Taxfix last year for my Pat taxes and paid 29,99 Euro and had a lot of rebates to use for family and friends. This year I couldn’t find any rebate codes and then you up it by €10. Made me feel some type away. But other than that, I’m a very pleased customer.

It was so easy to use, I had all of my documents in email and was able to do my return from my phone!!!

Terrible application don’t recommend

Don’t use this app, I’ve uploaded my ID that confirms my address 4 different times and each time I get the same address unconfirmed warning.

Incorrect calculations

Taxfix estimated a refund of over 3000 euros after I truthfully filled out their questionnaire. The Steueramt then responds by stating I actually owe money — something seems fundamentally wrong with their calculations.

Hello and thank you for your message. We regret that you did not receive the expected refund. In principle, our calculations are very accurate and in line with those of the tax office. It is possible that the tax office did not recognise all the costs that you declared. This may lead to discrepancies. You will find the contact details of your tax office on your tax assessment notice. After you have checked your tax assessment, you can ask them why your calculation differs. Would’ve been ideal if I could use a foreign bank account (Australian) in order to receive my EU return but I found a way to get around this. Apart from that, everything else is really easy to use & understand.
