Unable to access the panel away from home
We’ve been Bay customers for almost 10 years. We are overseas and received a low battery alert but are UNABLE to bypass that device.

Poor service
My camera has been out of service for sometime, the last person that came to fix it, tried two new ones, would not work, he thinks it is something with the manufacture, prior to that I called about needed repairs the person I spoke to said she no record that I even had a camera, I asked for a supervisor she they have a lot and don’t want their numbers given out. I don’t like to pay for something I’m not getting, but it doesn’t seem to bother bay alarm

Great idea but glitchy!
I was excited to use this however the more I use it, the less success I have in setting my alarm or disarming my system. Just trying to get the sign in button to work is my biggest frustration. Once signed in, it often will not reflect the status of the alarm system (e.g., states armed however system is disarmed). The refresh button states it is updated but does not appear to be accurate. Great idea but this works about 55% of the time for me. The key fob worked so much better!

A complete disappointment
I have been a customer of Bay Alarm for years, including Skybell services. Skybell is beyond worthless and Bay Alarm personnel do not know how to service it. In fact, Skybell is no longer sold by Bay Alarm but no one bothered to tell existing customers that the system is defunct. The advertising hype from Bay Alarm is just that: “Zero Quit” and “Video Security for every situation” are examples of representations that are, in my experience, false. I was just told that they in fact have no video doorbell systems at all for homeowners. At least existing customers with Skybell should have been told that it is not available and definitely not properly supported.

Very buggy app
The security service is good and responses to service phone calls is great. I have been using the app only for the alarm system. I depend on the app to monitor the security system and to arm/disarm for visitors etc. It is very frustrating to encounter random bugs frequently. given the monthly charge for the remote function, I expect much more reliability. Although there has been periods of proper functioning, I encounter frequent bugs such as sign on timeout, confusing messages trying to sign on, non responsive app requiring turning my phone off and turn it back on…. Based on my experience (use basic functions only) the app is the poorest quality software I have encountered.

Bypass function acknowledgement broken for some time.
The bypass function has been broken or significantly less functional for well over a year. It used to be that if you selected and bypassed a sensor showing as “faulted”, after the bypass was committed, the screen would update and show as “bypassed”. Now, one has no idea the bypass has taken unless you go “Back” to the status/ arm screen and only then does the system show you the selected sensor has, indeed, been bypassed. Is this just a low priority on you items that need to be fixed or are you unaware it has been broken so long?
Previously I had asked if you could offer an option to use some of the wasted real estate on the pages to increase the command font sizes. Has that fallen on deaf ears?

Worst app ever
Bay alarm app is ridiculously buggy. App constantly times out while trying to arm or disarm my alarm panel making it impossible to control my system from anything but the panel itself which makes the app useless. Will be switching security companies as soon as my contract with Bay Alarm is up.

50% Failure rate
The app either fails to log me in properly or fails to connect to my service so I can disable my alarm before entering the house. If I had to rely on it to disable the alarm for a worker or pet sitter, for example, no one could reliably enter my home without setting off the alarm. And I’m paying extra for this??!?!
