I’ve had the first version of the tapp lock for 5 years now and it’s been amazing. It’s never let me down. I rarely give reviews but after all these years it’s deserving of a written review.

Great lock, garbage app
I have the tapp lock lite, it's a great lock. It's fast. The battery lasts a long time. Highly recommended!
But the app is terrible. You need to create an account. Turn on location access for the app?! And it's not even good after you give it all that access. It looks like it was designed by someone from Fiverr for literal $5...
Luckily you can set up the lock. Uninstall the app and forget it was ever on your phone.

Newer Tapplock one+
My “old” Tapplock one+ used to drop open automatically after matching my fingerprint but the new one does not. You have to pull it straight down like a key lock or combination. This probably saves battery life. It still works well with your fingerprint and app.

Work very well
I bought my first Tapp Lock a few years ago to lock my handguns for travel. After activating it, I let it sit in a drawer for about a year. Once I got my organization together I got the Tapp Lock out of the drawer and to my surprise, it was working just like the day I activated it! I have since purchased 2 more and will complete my systems with assurance that the Tapp Locks will be there when I need them. Thanks for the great technology & product.
