Helpful app with a bunch of issues
First off, this app has a ton of great features for customizing your Sony headphones. That part can’t be ignored. However, it also has some meaningful problems. The main one is that there’s no way to customize taps on the earbuds. There are preset options you can select which automatically determine what happens with one tap, two tap, and three taps. This is problematic because some options assign nothing for two and three taps and there’s no way to customize that. Making matters worse, there’s also no way to turn off ambient or noise cancelling from the headphones themselves: you *must* use the app to do that. Considering that both noise cancelling and ambient will drain the battery quickly, it’s frustrating that the only way to turn off these options is through the app. Considering that one tap cycles between ambient and noise cancelling, it would be way more useful if one tap cycled between “off”, noise cancelling, and ambient.
