Fluent Numerals is designed to help you become a fluent listener AND speaker of numerals in a foreign language. Because knowing the names of numbers is invaluable in any language, Fluent Numerals is ideal for anyone interested in learning another language. No need to get separate apps for different languages: with Fluent Numerals you can hear "1-2-3" in Swedish and then at the flip of a switch hear "123" in Japanese. And to find out if you can say "9" in German, just make another easy language change, hold down the record button, and speak into the mic. Challenges: Put your skills to the test with the challenges Fluent Numerals offers for both listening and speaking. In listening challenges, a speech synthesizer says a number or a series of digits and your goal is to enter the correct numbers using the keypad. In speaking challenges, your goal is to pronounce the number you see on the screen (either as the entire number or separate digits) well enough so that a speech recognizer for the language you selected will understand you. Just hold down the record button and speak into the mic. And unlike traditional "listen and repeat" lessons, Fluent Numerals gives you immediate feedback on your performance. Fluent Numerals is free to try and is initially limited to numbers of up to 3 digits using digits 1-5.
