It actually works!!

I have tried so many spam call blockers and none of them did what I wanted; which was block entire zip codes. I was skeptical that wide protect would actually work, and it does, quite well. No more neighborhood spoof calls and no more obscure towns like wibley, Kansas calling me. Zip codes blocked!!! When they get hip to the block and call from another zip; I block it too!!! Only downside is that all those numbers add up quick when blocking entire zips, you get a max of 30,000,000, I think. Sounds like a lot, but if you use it as I have, that will cap off pretty quickly. Otherwise, I would give this app 6 stars if I could !!! Thank you Devs of wide protect !!!!

Simple and Effective

This app paid for itself in terms of peace of mind on the first day I installed it. Thank you for creating this!

I was getting calls every single hour during the day, and I accidentally called one of the spammers when trying to copy the phone number and overnight they began calling every 15 minutes... until I I found this!

Since installing this I’ve only had one call that slipped through the filters that I created, and that was quickly addressed by just expanding my criteria to have one more wild card digit.

Pants. Just doesn’t work. Keep getting calls come through from numbers I have blocked.

Hi, I think you have defined wrong prefixes, please provide me details via email (support@v-and.com): 1) screenshot of WideProtect app to see what prefixes you have added. 2) screenshot of 'iPhone Settings: Phone: Call Blocking & Identification' to see that all WideProtect extensions are enabled. 3) screenshot with incoming call to see what number it has. Also, if you use "Do not disturb" mode or "DND while driving", please disable it. iOS has a bug/feature - in this mode blocked calls are still coming to Home screen and to "Recent" list, but silently. Thank you in advance!

Thank you so much for this app. I was getting really frustrated with all the robo calls I receive. It's ridiculous whenever one's block list is larger than their contact list. You have provided a very simple and effective solution to the unwanted calls that plague many of us and at a reasonable price. I sincerely thank you.

Block numbers using wildcards

I got this specifically to block numbers in a certain range. Someone on stackoverflow posted this app and I decided to try it.

Works perfect, I’m able to block numbers that start with certain digits. I got tired of spam calls all coming from numbers that start with the same six digits - at six in the morning no less. One note, I don’t have my voice mail turned on. Others say blocked numbers are still able to leave voice mail if you have it enabled.

Following Vallerii’s very nice and quick response I may have this sorted out. The problem was probably the default 10 digit number input. When, at Valerie’s suggestion, I changed this to 9 digits, then everything else fell into place. So far so good and I will give it 5 stars.

Looks like there are issues with this and do not disturb. Hopefully those can be resolved.
