I don’t even get push notifications
So, mobile web view, it does show a badge within the app itself, but nothing until I actually open it. Really not great, yeah, it’s free but that’s no reason for it to just be plain bad.
Just loads a web view
Not sure what the point of this app is (except for push notifications) since it just loads a web view.
Worse than nothing
Using safari and adding a bookmark to your list gives you more convenience than this app. After being prompted to add whatever discourse you want, you will find out going into your chosen discourse, this app OPENS a safari window!! Why would I just open it safari to begin with??
App crashes on load
Functionality of the app is OK, I wish it were a little more self contained rather than using Safari. However, for many versions now the app often crashes when trying to open it. I sometimes have to open it 3 or 4 times before it will open without immediately crashing.
Tap a talk support would be nice
Or the ability to embed a forum inside my own app.
Just what I needed for the forums I manage
Discourse has been great for the communities I manage. Having an iOS app to access them is wonderful.
