I would download this game if it wasn’t for this one thing.
Once you download the game, you recognize that in order to play the ‘full’ game you must pay around 20 CAD (or something around that price), which is sad for those who just want to simply build their own prison without paying any fees. This is why I have an approach I wish the developers will think about. Once downloading the game, the player has the option to create 2 prisons for free and limited items, or pay $19.99 in order to create unlimited jails and have all the items unlocked. If you decide not to pay and to stick with the free version, you get to create a max of 2 prisons with limited items and an infinite amount of time in game.
Although the chances of the developers reaching out to this is low, i believe that it is indeed a good idea! Agree or disagree?Show lessDJTheAstronomer

I bought the full game for $7.99 and when I did it said ‘Purchase Complete’ or whatever, then it kicks me out of the game, then I go back into and it makes me buy it again, but after I put in my password and stuff it says ‘want this for free because you’ve already bought it?’ Then I press ok, then it kicks me out again!Show lessHattyratty
Very disappointing.
I have played this game before and it’s quite fun but I have a huge problem… I saw this app, downloaded it and realised you had to pay, which isn’t a problem it is worth it for a game of this quality. I payed the £4.99 for the ‘build your own prison’ mode which is all I wanted the game for and straight after I made the purchase the app closed, i assumed it just needed to restart for your purchase to be accessible but when I loaded the game up it was still asking me to pay £4.99 and when I clicked it the payment option tab came up. I feel like I’ve been robbed, how can such a well known game have such a terrible interface that it glitches out when you make a purchase. I am literally on a brand new iPad so it certainly isn’t the device. I then tried contacting them through the ‘report bug’ section and when I pressed send or whatever it just showed this little loading icon of a prisoner mining and absolutely nothing happened, I waited for 10 minutes then just closed the app and opened the App Store and wrote this. Now I’m really hoping by tomorrow I open the app and I finally have the game mode I payed for with money that I earnt. If not, just keep the 4.99 and shove ur game…Show lessRPaul03

Purchased took money didnt give full version
First of all, I would love to say that I LOVE prison architect, and have played it on the computer for a few years now. I am currently in the hospital with a bad liver infection, and saw that I could download it on my IPad for some entertainment. I have made the purchase for the full version, however when The purchase went through the game crashed, and it is still trying to get me to purchase the Full version. I can provide my transactions to show that I did indeed purchase it and it did indeed charge my account. I have tried to redownload the game, to no effect. This is highly inappropriate to me. Once I am provided a fix, I will change my review. Update; To be clear 24 hours have passed since the purchase. I still do not have access to my purchase.
Updating to 4 stars since the app finally gave me my purchases about 36 hours after the purchase.
Love the game, but the point of me buying it on IPad was to have something to do while I was in the hospital. The time that it took to give me access to the purchase almost completely voided the point of the purchase. I guess at least now in the future if ill not have access to my computer for entertainment, then this will be on the back burner.Show lessoldmantrypp
THIS GAME IS AMAZING! One slight issue though☹️
I was just about to play when I accidentally pressed the buy all features button but I already had what I wanted and didn’t want story mode but when I got off of buy features I had lost the five dollar worth of money purchase and was set back to default. All of my prisons I had made were now in trial mode and it was a HUGE disappointment I loved the game but have no way of getting my stuff back right now as I have no money on my iPad at the momentShow lessjoseph 😽😽😽
Save your money-Don’t buy
I bought this for my 2020 iPad Pro, and bought the $5 “Build your own prison” add on…and it crashes the game, non-stop. I click the “buy” button, it recognizes that I gave the developer my money, and offers to allow me to grab the add on again for free since I’ve already paid…and the game just crashes right there.
The game has not been update in four years. The developer clearly doesn’t care enough to do anything about it if this is a recurring issue and the last update was four years ago. Just don’t get the game. If you must, go buy it on Steam-it’s $8 there, and I’m pretty sure you get it cheaper, with all the add ons for that price.Show lessjeffthebean
App is broken, it stole my money
I’m sure this game was legit, but you can see from the update history that it’s long stopped being supported on the App Store. I downloaded it (on a 2017 iPad Pro) and in “trial mode” all seemed good and it was decent fun to play. I paid to unlock the full game and long story short it accepts the payment but then crashes immediately, without recognising the purchase the next time you load it up. Invoice emails from apple confirmed I’d lost the money, while the game stays forever in trial mode. I get it’s the developers prerogative to stop updating a game, but really this shouldn’t be allowed on the App Store in this state.Show lessHeg
