I have down load it to use on the watch, and install on it, but can make it work just to try to see if it works and how it works. I use TestFlight for other developers to see and give input on their apps and I was wondering if you have a try out the compass on my watch 4? Can’t give you a good review do to I wanted to use mainly on the watch. I put 3 stars for the UI, but since I can’t make it start on the watch I don’t have enough to go further.

This app has its downsides and upsides. One thing I noticed was that either the compass is complete bullstuff, or it’s just the earth spinning round and the compass is correct. This is because I decided to do a test and put the compass facing north, swipe away the app for 15 seconds. The moment I come back it shows that it’s 42 degrees east. Please fix this issue because I’m not sure whether it’s correct.

I have useing your compass for several years and it has worked fine. However, recently it has been giving totally wrong directions. It frequently tells me that North is somewhere thatI know it is not. This is usually 90 or 180 degrees off.
Is there a way that I can recalibrate is, or some other way to fix it.

I wanted to do some quick math to see when I’d be able to see the moon from my porch (unfortunately the result was 2 in the morning) and I looked for some apps. I downloaded this one because it had 4.5 stars and when I used it it was quick and precise. The only thing I don’t get is why the thing turns red at exact north, but that doesn’t matter. Overall, very useful

But I hate it when the display flashes red when crossing over true north. That is very distracting when driving on a north-south road.
On the “classic” screen, it’s overkill to have three direction displays simultaneously: compass rose, numeric heading, and textual heading. I would rather see my speed displayed in larger font in the center of the compass rose, and move the numeric heading readout to just above the top of the compass rose.
Please get rid of the red screen!

It is possible to see your speed in the center of the screen. It does require the purchase of the one-time in-app purchase upgrade which you may already have since you mentioned you can see speed. If you click on the button in the lower left corner, there should be an option that says "Show Big Speedometer". I hope that is what you were wanting. I paid $9.99 for it and although it works, I think, the developer recommended walking several steps to verify. No ads now and overall happy with it but I hope that further development will continue so that the watch might even be better

I like that I can change the format from original compass to big letters that are easy to see.
The best feature is that the whole background turns red when you are pointing your device due north🔴👍

Thank you for your understanding regarding that feature. Have a great day! 😃 The compass is acurate and quick. I am very pleased with this free app, I’ve used this for a few years. It’s especially helpful if I’m driving in an area I’m not familiar with. If a map/GPS driving instruction says turn North, East, etc and I cannot figure it out on my own, I use the compass to get to the next step of the directions. I’ve used it in others cities and found my way quickly.
Its also an easy, fun tool to teach children and help them get a sense of direction.
If I did more traveling, hiking and walking in unfamiliar areas I would want to unlock the premium features.

While the compass works as it should, it could be better if it had a counter wheel inside of the compass so that one could use it like a protractor, finding out how many degrees one needs to move to get to a location, ... kinda like a map readers tool, ... which could be used for a lot of items such as setting up a saw, or other tools like maybe a drill, ... line of sight is ok, but being able to put a spot directly onto the mark, is even better, ... ya know what I mean?
