when i try and close my eyes all i see is the abominable teal drilling into my mind, never resting. even when i’m awake all i can hear is the torturous never ending buzz of fireflies consuming my soul from the inside out and all i can see is a dark cloud hanging over me at all times threading to rain down on me with tasks. my mother always told me to do great things but now whenever i hear the dreaded ping of the firefly app- it rattles my bones and shakes me to my core- all i want to do is strangle Simon Hay and Joe Mathewson or go back in time so that a meteorite hit the earth and killed us all so that i would not be sitting here being tortured by this appShow lessTikki4444
Shockingly bad app
App refused to function for the better part of 8 weeks. After contacting firefly multiple times and receiving a reply at least a month after the issue first occurred they informed me that this issue was “not on their end”. So after being left to my own devices for a further two weeks I managed to fix the issue by updating my software with the app uninstalled as it didn’t let me log out. This app is rubbish, the technical support is rubbish, and they in no way whatsoever are helpful when dealing with firefly related problems. Also their recent update that changed the layout of the app made it more glitchy and made the layout far more difficult to navigate. This app is bad.Show lessLupiDM
Accessable?
Fierfly is always better quality on computer compared to phone, using fierfly via app is alot less quality compared to website but is is vryy usefulk when it comes to things like homework and has always helped me my whole school uses it
It is not always easy to access but it still helps to organise work and it help with many things such as : were my next lessons are due to having a timetable , comunicating digitaly with teachers and with behavour / acheavment pionts

Please go back to the old format
The title. The old UI format was much, much sleeker, less buggier, more efficient and just a much better experience over all. Now, tasks don't sync to the mobile app properly when they're set, marking as done doesn't sync properly and quickly enough to the Web version. Task descriptions don't load half of the time. The navigational buttons at the bottom of the screen are EXTREMELY unresponsive and can take up to 5 seconds to load the requested page.
There is no excuse for such a bad app. Please go back to the old format and stop trying to fix this one. It's not worth the effort trying to upkeep something that clearly doesn't work. Additionally, the app store preview pictures STILL show the old but much better UI format, essentially tricking people into downloading something that they are far, far from actually receiving. I know how set you are on trying to fix the current app, which is respectable, I guess, but it just clearly isn't working.
Please just listen to the students that have to live with this poor excuse of an app, for once.Show lessm0iperkele
PLEASE READ and don’t just give me a generic response!!
This app used to work. My tasks would stay done, photos would upload, and I could check my planner. This thing has caused me SO MUCH TROUBLE since the latest “down date” and I have missed lessons, gotten chewed out for not uploading homework and basically deleted and reinstalled it every day just so my tasks will load instead of spending THREE DAYS loading as it has done before. (I re opened the app Monday only to find it still loading)
If this is not fixed, I think my entire school with 11 HUNDRED STUDENTS WILL DELETE THIS CRAPPY APP. That would not be good for ANY developer, so please heed this warning. TAKE BACK YOUR STUPID UPDATE !!Show lessMack 1098

Just stick to the website
The app is only useful for quickly checking when things are due or for checking your schedule. The app has been riddled with glitches and bugs for months, with no end in sight. E.g. When you mark a task as done, it stays there and you can’t get rid of it as you watch it turn into a red and overdue task, causing stress every time you open the app. Or when you try opening a task and no details appear, so you have to use the website to see the details.
Also, you can’t access subject resources on the app which is annoying, as once again, you have to switch to the website. Once again, The app is pretty useless for things other than checking task due dates and checking your schedule.Show lesssp0Okedd

Horrendous
I’m not even saying this as an angry 12 year old who wants homework to be abolished the app does not (and has not for some time) function whatsoever. I cannot check my timetable, when I click on a task I cannot see the description and even when I could see the description whenever I ticked off a task the app would crash and boot me out. I’m now having to use the website version where I have to log in if I go off for more than 5 minutes. At this point you can’t really call it an app, considering it doesn’t work...Show lessFreddietheGod
