IOS 15.8.3 App frozen after the app updated
Updated the Status app two days ago, and found the app is frozen, even after waiting for many hours. Updated my iPhone to iOS 15.8.3 today and the Status app is still frozen.JJH9999999999

They locked my account 3 times and refuse to unlock funds and allow me to send/receive my funds. This is a fraud! They have no customer service and can only talk with someone thru the chat feature. They want me to add 1:1 matching funds to my account to unlock it! Dont do it!Nodefi66

Please note that, by design, Status does not have visibility of, access to or control over your wallet or digital assets stored in your wallet, your seed phrase or private keys. The wallet is your personal wallet, self-custodial, which means you are in complete control over digital assets stored in your wallet. The wallet contains the latest security standards, anti-phishing mechanisms and locally generated and stored public and private keys to ensure that your digital assets are secured to the highest standards. Users are solely responsible for storing and securing their seed phrase and private keys. If you fail to maintain the appropriate security measures of your private keys, lose them or forget them, it may result in you losing access to your wallet and control of any digital assets in your wallet and Status is not able to help you recover or replace the funds. Hey all,
I got sent here by someone on social media trying to get me to use this app.
In the app they direct you to a URL that is fraudulent.
With 83 reviews and a relatively unknown status in crypto, it’s likely being used for fraud. Maybe the design facilitates that kind of stuff or it was hijacked for it. My guess it the former.

Buyer beware. This is a scam. They lie about blockchain security and steal you money. Do not trust this site. They lie cheat and steal. Online support does not give proper instructions and they steal your money. Once they lock you in their fake blockchain security, they ask for more payments to release your funds.
