Used to be Amazing
Plex used to be amazing. I live in China and used to flawlessly use Plex to bypass the internet censorship.
I have a 1 device plan, which means that you can connect 1 device to Plex at a time. However, I would just switch between using it on my phone and my laptop whenever the use of one was more convenient than the other. Plex used to allow you to disconnect one device from the VPN instantly, if I wanted to log in on my other device.
However, within the last month they had an update where I can no longer do this. It makes switching between the two devices infuriating, and now there is often times a delay before it’s registered that you disconnected one device.
I loved Plex, but I assume they released this update with the sole intent of making life harder for the people that only have a “1 device at a time” plan in order to steer them towards buying a multi-device plan.

Hi, because there is a bug for the former logic, it will affect the VIP users, so we changed it. If you hope to use PlexVPN on the 2nd device, please following the steps below: 1 You can visit our Device Management page to disconnect it, it might cost about 0-4 minuites. If you hope to use this function, please updates all the clients to the latest version; 2 You can click "Disconnect" button on the first device, then you can connect to the servers on the second device immediately.
