Pretty Good.
The app is pretty good in the way you can make an NPC. You can put as much detail into them as you want, or you can completely randomize one into existence.
The only thing that would make it better would be a way to have the groups be in alphabetical order.DemonicNewt

Love this app, really handy for making NPCs, and also for having a visual reference.
You can either make random ones, or spend a bit more time fine tuning your own creations.
One request would be to add more character images at some point, but there are plenty in there to last a long time anyway.

I was underwhelmed
The price of this could only be merited because of the artwork that is included for the NPC generation. It’s a pretty basic random generator although it may appeal to some GMs more than it did to me.hellasupercooldinosaur

Extremely useful!
I love using this tool before a game to come up with ~50 or so quick npcs that I can pick out for any given moment. I sort all of them into different areas through tags so I can filter through them which works great Except... what I find really time consuming is having to go to saved characters after every NPC I hire and having to edit them, pick a tag and then click save which I could forget and i “lose” that character bc I haven’t tagged them to the ‘tavern’ for example.
NOTE TO DEVELOPERS:
Please please please add an option to hire an NPC under a tag from the random NPC screen so you can make the process of collecting npcs 5 times faster!!!Show lessBobaFεtt

This app is exceptional! If the creator makes it so that you can also import images to his already large selection it would be perfect.

Worth every penny
I am working on a new campaign and I can already tell this will be a crucial tool for me. There’s already so much here to use. If the dev keeps supporting this it will be one of the most useful rpg tools for ipad.
The only feature I would love to see added is the ability to use my own artwork or saved images to custom npc’s. This would ensure zero overlap in pictures. Still, you couldn’t buy this much quality artwork anywhere for $5, and with the added features its beyond a must have. Great work devs!Show lessSomniculto
A powerful, easy to use tool.
Super easy to create NPCs on the fly, or record ones that already exist in your game.
The art is beautiful, and whilst I understand that it is half the product, I find the ability to keep a record of my characters in one place is my favourite part of the app. As a result of this, I wish I could import custom portraits, even as an In-App-Purchase enabled feature in the future.. 🙂🙂Show lessJbking93
Fantastic GM companion app!
NPC for Hire is a great app! Not only keeps my NPCs organized but the random traits/items have helped to further develop their back stories. The sketches are all beautifully done, and I hope they continue to support the app and add more! Would definitely recommend.Lothee
