Dumbed down version compared to the old one!
Why did you make this game so easy now with huge pockets? The version you removed that was $3.99 was real pool. This is pathetic. You can’t change the pocket size . The players aren’t as good unless you play champion level now. Why make it so easy? You ruined the best pool simulator available anywhere all to cater to pick up and play people who need to feel like they can shoot when they actually can’t and refuse to learn or even have to capacity and patience to do so. Thanks for nothing. You removed the version I owned for this?

The simulation did not change and the older interface is still available. Select Setting/Controls and Use Old Controls.
Update crashes after clicking on play button.
The most recent update is terribly flawed.
1) The controls and navigation are no longer intuitive. Impacts finger movements.
2) You can no longer tap to remove the ball counter. It makes it impossible to view longer shots.
3) The program crashes after touching the play button. Restarting the phone and resorting back to a fresh install does not help.
This version is not even close to the past release. The pinball option is a waste of screen layout. Otherwise I love what you’re doing with the app.

The previous In-Game interface is still available. Select Settings and Controls. Set "Use Old Controls" to "On". Please contact support@celeris.com for help with any crashes.

Laggy
Not sure what they have done but the game is now almost unplayable at times because of how laggy it has become. Shame as it used to be a pretty good game

I owned this game for years ($4.99 version ) and it was the best pool simulation bar none. They recently updated it with in app purchases and a clunky interface that lacks the much of the nuance it previously had. This is a game that requires actual skill and being able to actually shoot pool. I used to be able to run out about 20 to 30 percent of time on a good day . Now when you draw the ball it shoots back so fast and far it’s ridiculous. Saying im disappointed is an understatement! Why did you ruin such a perfect pool simulation?

Why change things that didn’t need to be changed? When I opened up my vp4 I noticed it was abit different and after some time realised it had been updated for the first time in a long time. My career and my tour games became unplayable as my cue wouldn’t shoot the cue ball. It would pull back ok but pushing forward to shoot just wouldn’t work. So I figured since it was an update then uninstalling and reinstalling would probably fix it. This did work and I was able to shoot but NOT as normal. Not only did I lose all my pro tour and hustler games but To my horror everything had changed on the interface. Shooting the cue is no long done by putting your finger on the cue and pushing forward but now the cue is at the right of the screen and the strength of shot is now determined by how far you pull back but instead of pushing the cue forward you let go of the cue. Putting English in the ball is now done horribly different. You click on the cueball at the bottom of the screen and you are then greeted with a big cue all with a dot and you move the dot according to how much English you need. I could go on. I have been a fan of virtual pool since the early days where I started with VP2 I think. I used to be a regular on game spy for years playing with PC with vp3 and VP4. Circumstances took me away from pc playing and a few years ago discovered the phone version which I’ve loved and never stopped playing it since I installed it. Now this update has completely ruined for me. I hate it now because it’s not the game I’ve loved and played for many years. I don’t know if it’s possible to revert back to the previous version but if not I’m going to have to uninstall and find an alternative. I don’t think I’ll be able to find a pool game as good as VP4 was before this update tho. Very sad!!

Very sorry for the shooting issue with V4.14, this was fixed in V4.15 The original controls are still available. From the main screen, select Settings and then Controls. Set "Use Old Control" to "on". It defaults to the old controls for users that are updating but unfortunately you uninstalled the App which removes all your settings so it was a clean install. If you have backed up your phone recently you can restore to there. Then update to V4.15 and everything should be fine.

I don’t understand. This was the only pool game that created the feel of actually hitting a ball with cue and you’ve taken it away. Please tell me you will change it back?!
