Best Staffing app ever
Have been using for years, love the fun events been able to support as well as communication with team at HYR. Absolute dream compared to other companies I have dealt with. Will forever be a fun! Such a great app to get staff/help for events!!!
Lowkey thieves
Used them last summer and I still haven’t gotten paid for any of the painstaking labours they had me do.
It’s a good app but very hard to get approval for a shift
This is a great app to make extra money on the side. My only issue is I wasn’t able to get shift and when a shift was available. It says after the shift is filled.

No jobs in nyc at all. Idk what wrong but no work to be found.

I’ve been using Hyr for 2 years now and the responses are always quick and efficient! I’ve never had ANY problems with my payments!! Highly recommend it!
A waste
Don’t bother. You get jobs ‘listed’ from one or two organizations and that’s it. They claim to have an array of employers but honestly, it is the same two orgs and the postings from Hyr itself are already ‘booked’ by the time they list.

Do not register
They do not take your data privacy seriously, you cannot delete your account through the app. I’ve had to send multiple e-mails requesting them to delete my information and data I provided when I created an account but they keep saying that they have only “deactivated” my account and I should delete the app from my phone.
This is not sufficient and not the equivalent of my request. Be careful when registering on this app!

A Great way to find people!
I’m the owner of HEART CLEAN EATS CAFE. We have been struggling with finding the right staff since we’ve open. HYR allows you to find staff to manage peak times and it’s a great way to test staff our before hiring them full time. Highly recommend trying them out!

Horrible app, with no jobs. Asked for them to delete my account and they said they’d suspend it, and stopped answering my emails. So it has not been deleted!

Hi Cristina. Your account was deleted following your request to do so. Sorry you were not pleased with the selection of gigs, we do our best to attract businesses to Hyr. The start of the year is always a slower time due to the downturn in the industry.
