  • Ending?

So I played the game all the way through and thoroughly enjoyed it. It had a wonderful story going and the graphics were nice. It was easy to follow and the tasks were just challenging enough. It had a lot of promise for a much longer game. However, I got to the “end” and didn’t feel that it ended. Is there a second one coming out? I’d love to see this story through. I know it’s an indie company and this is far better work than I’ve seen from most but I would love to see this story fleshed out a little more to a true ending. Otherwise, what we were given was well worth the five stars.

  • Pretty but not long

I didn’t get to finish building all the objects. I went all over the map and there were not enough of the stones to complete them.
I thought the story was going to continue because there were so many areas I hadn’t explored yet that I could see collectible souls so I don’t know how to get there or if I was not supposed to.. but then the credits rolled and that was it...
we never finished the last rocket or the rest of the artifacts and it was over...

Once you get to the point where it wants you to pay you might as well stop bc nothing exciting happens and the game doesn’t continue.
Also don’t pay extra for the animals bc they are useless. You can’t even click on them and get any information or dialogue connected with them they are totally just for decoration. Not even decoration you can click on to find more about.

  • Missed potential

First off, I have to give credit where it's due- beautiful graphics and it definitely sucked me in.
But that is it- the story line had so many holes, and the ending felt very disappointing. So many aspects were not addressed in the ending, it felt like the game developers got tired and gave up. For example, the ghosts' objects that John was fixing- I didn't finish fixing all of them before the ending, and the end of the game made me feel like I was just fixing these items for no reason. Maybe they were there just to be cute in and of itself, but I didn't feel a strong emotional connection to the character and the ghosts for these fixed items to ~move me~. John was pretty much an angry guy the entire time, and you don't get the sense AT ALL that he is softening up to the ghosts, despite caring enough for their lost items. There is so much potential for this game, if only they fleshed out the story a bit more.

  • Fantastic!!

Considering they're new and rising developers, this game is absolutely amazing so far! I've noticed that there's an option to reset the game even if you just started, but I've also noticed that collecting items from certain spots throughout the terrain are important as they unlock new memories. It keeps it interesting and makes it a little more personal to you, in the sense that you get to choose the story a bit as you go along.

  • To the people rating one star...

This game isnt based around action, it based around relaxed and chill vibes. Sure, the storyline doesnt make too much sense and the actions are repetitive, however, this game to me is beautiful and i dont understand why you would rate it one star, give it a chance, also, when the game asks you to rate, it states that the the producers of Opus: Rocket of Whispers are a small, but determined group, i would love to see more improvements and/or new games. 🙂

  • Heartfelt Experience

I want to start off by saying that this game has exceeded my expectations, thinking that it would be like any other indie story game from the start. Oh how I was wrong in just my experience with this game every was so well executed.

Furthermore I just want to say I hope more stories like this comes out from this game studio. What they did here is what truly makes OPUS such a unique game nothing can compare to this sort of status.

    Well Worth it, I recommend!

  • Still playing

I have not finished the game as of yet. However, this is a very well designed title. This interactive story is a little on the sad side so far although, there are moments when Fei (The Witch) lightens the mood. The music is very relaxing, which makes this a good bedtime game.

This game is well worth the $2.00 to help support the developer and the publishing company. I look forward to more titles in the future, hopefully a tad more light hearted and/or comedy. Well done!

  • Absolutly incredible!

In all the apps I've found and the games that I play, this one has no equal. By the time I got through the free part, I was hooked. I bought the full version immediately. Never have I been so immersed in a story. For those that have the mind for it, the story is intriguing, even touching (it nearly brought me to tears). All that combined with a great set of visuals and a wonderful soundtrack brings the game to life. I could go on and on. For those people that find this game boring, you may continue to sit and play mind numbing infinite runners and the like. But to all those interested in a good, refreshing story game, I very highly recommend this one. And to the developers, if I could give more, I would offer 15 stars. The job you guys did was amazing! Thanks!
    PLEASE RELEASE THE MUSIC ALBUM!

  • Pretty good so far

I'm not too far into the game, but I've liked the general simplicity of it. It's not particularly challenging, and the focus is on the backstory, making it the kind of game I love. However, the feel of the controls, especially the walking, just feels a little off to me. It's probably just personal preference, and, seeing as I can't quite put my finger on it, I will probably never know. The graphics of this game are truly gorgeous, and I've yet to get tired of them. Overall, I've had a very fun run through the story, and am excited to get back into it!
