Vista Golf is fun. These problems with Vista golf could be corrected. The playing surface would benefit with some opacity, so you can see multiple tiers, when a playing surface is directly under another, as what currently is offered. impossible to see where the track leads. Also placing direction of play would make it less confusing to know which direction leads to the hole, “just a few arrows”. Lastly, it would be a nice feature if the infinite course allowed the hole numbers to be changed without having to reload the entire game. An excellent feature is not having innumerable ads. An improvement was the enlarged holes. All in all, a pleasant way to pass time. Addendum: As of mid March, the developers have added a huge number of ads, to the level of lowering my original review from 5 to 2 stars. Unless you are willing to spend more time viewing ads than playing, you must disconnect from the internet. No other changes, and no improvements were implemented. THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE WAY TO PLAY is to SELECT AIR PLANE MODE. DISAPPOINTING.

I'm sorry to hear about your disappointment, and I'm sorry that we've had to add the ads that we have. Prior to the interstitial ads, we were barely making enough money for coffee. I want to release updates and more games, but I can't do it for free, given living expenses. It's unfair to suggest there are more ads than content - 18 holes takes 10-15 minutes, the 5 ad views over that course take around 25 seconds total - I believe ~95% content is more than fair when considering it's totally free, and comparing to other media sources. It also only costs a (us)dollar to remove ads. I appreciate your input, and I'm regretful that the ads did become a necessity (they do degrade the quality of the game, no argument there), but I have plans for Vista Golf and other games, and to make those happen I need to be able to purchase my own time. All that said, I know you've been a loyal player, and I'd be happy to send over a "remove ads" promo code if you shoot me an email at reid@shallotgames.com

Great game but angry

I love this game and use it a stress reliever, I usually just play infinite mode. But wait, infinite only means 7,405. How would I know this? I have now played through this game twice in infinite mode, a total of 14,810 holes, and the game glitches and does not continue to the next hole. Love this game, if they fixed it I would love it even more.

Edit* The developer reached out to me, and fixed the problem. It was an all around pleasant experience, he has made a customer for life!

Brilliant game, well made. Only thing missing, in my opinion, is some kind of multiplayer.

Fun fun fun ...

A cross between golf and pool... I sometimes find myself taking it very seriously, and have to slap myself and start flying shots through the air in the off chance I will land one ... I do have one, hole in one ...

I don't playa lot of games on my phone but this is a great time waster. Even if your not a golf tragic this simple golf app is easy and not so easy. I enjoyed it and like it's simple stylish design and play mode. Give it a try.

Sooo addictive

This game is absolutely amazing the new update makes it way easier to play. I only wish that x-ray vision worked on the obstacles as well because in some cases it makes it really hard to finish a hole because an obstacle is in my way. Please fix this and then I can give it 5 stars.

UPDATE: this issue still has not been addressed.

Needs improvement

Trees get in the way of specific holes when I need to get the ball through the castle, try making them disappear at certain angles. Arrow when pulling back the ball is too thick, try a thin line without an arrow, the numbers are stretched so they don't look appealing and the speed of the numbers to how the ball rolls doesn't feel satisfying. Maybe get rid of the numbers and try a coloured technique, like traffic lights. I love how the courses pop up from the water, love the curves, the ball seems to bounce off things exceptionally well.
