Great way to pass time

This game is a very fun way to pass time. I love the easy and intuitive controls. I also found my self going back to each course wanting to break my previous score.

One thing of concern: sometimes obstacles can get in the way of your view point and don’t quite change opacity enough to see through them. That might be by design, and if so, it does add a cool challenge to the game as some shots need to be made at awkward angles.

Fun way to pass time

I downloaded this game despite the review about the increased ads. Either that reviewer was trying to get the ad-free version for free or the developers made major changes, because the ads on this game are nothing compared to other games I’ve played! The game is a fun way to pass some extra time. I’m enjoying trying to get my score to par. Definite learning curve on how much juice it takes to get the ball where you want it. Frustratingly fun, about the way putt-putt is for me when we go play! I like the way the landscaping fades to let you see your ball and that you can turn the course to get a different view.

Absorbing

This is a very elegant little game. The graphics are clean and simple. It is easy to play but challenging to play well. It is a calm game, although it can be quite frustrating - much like golf itself. The course designs are rather repetitive, but overall, a nice little waste of time.

Fun Game, Minor Areas for Improvement

I really enjoy the game, and it is realistic in that I make similar mistakes and have similar successes as real mini golf. I am glad I bought it and have no mechanics complaints, but it is closer to 3.5⭐️ than 4.

The on-boarding experience could have been stronger — setting a name, why is there only one icon, and etc. I also looked around frustrated looking for the ad remove option, which only shows after an ad occurs. It was annoying to waste time when all I wanted to do was preemptively pay for the app. A “remove ads/shop” button on the main screen?)

I’d also enjoy a variety of background and transition options. The blue poly is good, but repetitive... and the single transition is too slow and becomes uninteresting. I’d prefer a score card screen and then background load/render the course.
UPDATE: Disabling Low Battery/Saver mode improved load times. Disabling pro setting also adds course flair.

Response from developer

Thank you for your input and feedback!

Great mini golf game!

Love this game so far, played over 100 holes in infinity mode. Only issue is sometimes you can’t see the ball at a certain angel due to the course being in the way rather than going translucent. Would definitely recommend though.

Do NOT buy; it’s a SCAM!!!

Only 99 cents to get rid of ads. I paid; I still get the same ads. This game just isn’t that good. Regardless, this is getting reported. Hey, 99 cents is not allot of money, but it’s no excuse for ripping people off!

The game is too slow and the action is forced. Probably has something to do with the ad SCAM. Seriously, do not BUY this app!

UPDATE: The ads are now gone. So, my apologies for the SCAM comment. HOWEVER, my other comments are still correct. I do not care for the app. It is still very slow and, frankly, boring. It’s much too easy. Anyway, that is only an opinion, so I have increased the stars by one. Not for the program, for your tech support. Thank you.

Simple and fun

Finally a worthwhile mini golf game on the App Store. Intuitive aiming and distance. Physics take some getting used to; bounces can be brutal and watch out for those corner ramps. I like the leaderboard competition, I’m not a fan of head to head online play. For those complaining about the ads (and they can be annoying), spend the $.99. Unlimited holes plus new holes every week are well worth it!

Nice Minimalistic Mine-Golf

There aren't a lot of bells and whistles in this game, but that is one of the reasons I like it.

This game is fun and challenging.
The music is nice and sounds are simple/nice too.

It would be helpful if the "zoom" function would zoom in just a bit more. It's a bit hard to see on my tiny iPhone screen.

I have a few of other suggestions/ideas for the devs...

-Pass and Play and/or over shared WiFi would be nice.

- Maybe make it possible to allow players to pick different colored balls.

-Have the music volume and sound volume be adjustable separately.

-Possibly make the sound volume max out a little higher so it can be heard better over private music selections.

-Some opacity for when the ball stops in tunnels would be helpful.

-Possibly add other textures to some courses... rough, sand-trap, water etc. (not sure if maybe is already in the later stages as I'm still on easy and
course)

- A 9 hole short-game option might be nice.

This is a nice game as is though and definitely worth paying the low price of $0.99 to remove ads and support the devs!

Awesome Mini Golf Game

The courses range from easy to challenging and none of them are seemingly impossible. If you work at it a little you can get at least a birdie on most of the holes. I have played a few other mini golf games which have had some holes you couldn’t par on even if you’re life depended on it. As for the ads, hey, everybody’s gotta eat, right? It doesn’t bother me at all. I mean it only cost 1 USD to get rid of them, I have a dollar in spare change in my car right now. Well done developer. Fantastic game!

A great free game

I honestly hate most free games. The “pay to play” design just ruins it for me. 9 out of 10 times i would rather spend money up front on a developer i trust and own the game outright. This game is an exception, it is a great game that does not aggressively advertise and isnt a stunted version of a game either. They update courses all the time, its simple and easy to play...if you like golf/minigolf, just download it already! :)
