Completely lost me by throwing 5 or more info windows in my face for every single screen in the app as I was looking through it. A well designed app wouldn’t need all this explanation and I don’t need to read about every little thing your app is capable of. Just chill the f out guys

I have been working with the developer and found the issue.
In your iCloud settings you need to make sure that iCloud Drive is enabled. The error code didn’t mention that.
I was signed into iCloud and the Model Colors app was toggled green. That was not enough.
If you are having issues with the download stalling and you get any errors try this and see if it installs correctly.

I have tried to load this several times. Each time the database stalls at 93% and then says:
“color mixes download failed! Please make sure you are signed in to iCloud on your device from the settings app, then restart Model Colors.”
Or
“Failed to fetch user Data! Please make sure you are signed in to iCloud on your device from the settings app, then restart Model Colors.”
I have checked iCloud and I am signed in. I have restarted the app - no luck. I have reloaded the app - no luck.
Anyone else getting this error and if so, is there a work around?
I looked for a way to contact the company but their website is under development with no contact information.
Please help if anyone can.

Cant get it to load.
I cloud error sometimes / garbage at the end error other times. 😟

Does not work
Colour chart will not download. Am signed into iCloud which it requires. No support link.
Amazing Application
Over the years I have acquired hundreds of paint colors, brands and supplements. Organization, inventory and acquisition list were ever disappearing scraps of paper. Tracking various mixes was nearly impossible!! This application has changed all of that. I wish I had discovered this years ago. Now, this application is a most valuable tool, which speaks volumes coming from a compulsive, obsessive organizer. While free, this application is worthy of a serious subscription charge!! It is well worth the time and effort to input information. Very simple to use as well. AMAZING APPLICATION!!

Can’t Actually See Mix Results
Unless I’m missing something I can’t see mix results and questions to creators of app go ignored. So no tip jar.

I just got back into miniature painting after a long hiatus. While the focus of this app is not on wargaming/miniature painting, it has a very complete database of colors from a wide selection of brands.
The UI is admittedly a little clunky, but it only takes a little while to work with it and it all makes sense. The other thing is the Model scales all apply to, say, model airplanes/tanks/cars, that sort of thing, but I am a miniature painter. I’d love to see applicable scales for that sort of thing.
These minor quibbles I have aren’t enough for me to knock off anything from my rating, though. If you paint models of any sort, this is a great way to track your paint inventory and catalog your work! Kudos to the app developer for his/her hard work!

Cannot fetch data
This used to be my favorite painting app, but I can no longer open it. It repeatedly fails to fetch my color/model data and will not load. I wish there was a way to store some of the data locally, because the app becomes unusable if it cannot connect to iCloud.
