Factory reset doesn’t work in iOS 13+
My dreamscreen 4K doesn’t show up in either of my wifi networks but it does show up when i connect to its wifi hotspot.
When i try to do a factory reset on it to reconnect to the wifi it doesn’t do anything. It still tries to connect to the same network. I read online some other people were having the same issue and got it to work by using a device that is pre-ios13 or an android device, so i will try that next. Might be nice to have one of those factory reset buttons on the actual device for when apps inevitably have issues.

Set up was simple, features are great, having the remote app makes it even better to switch from lighting, video and music thanks!! Initial unit was defective however customer service sent me my replacement and been working great since

Probably over the period of 2 years it might have detected it probably for like 3 times. Tired of constantly refreshing it when you already know it’s not gonna work

Between the software and rude customer service I spent over $200 and it was an utter waste. iOS software is crap too. After a year half of the lights do not work.

Currently the app does not seem to work on the now publicly available iOS 13. The app seems to fail to determine wether the phone is on WiFi or not and simply does not control on my perfectly fine working setup since 2017. Rip.
Won’t stay connected to WiFi in iOS 13
I rarely had issues with this app but since upgrading to iOS 13 i have lost connectivity with my DreamScreen 4K daily. Fixing it is an incredibly frustrating process requiring me to reset nearly every digital device in the house. Please fix!
App does not work well
I have had the dream screen for about a year now, the first one I received did not work with my ps4. I spoke to customer service they sent a new one out, it works but the cable box don’t work. So basically it was a trade. The lights are good they can be off it depends how it feels like.
Now for the app... the app is completely garbage. It does not connect, I mean I have to spend like 30 minutes resetting my router and the module. When it does connect I have to be fast and adjust the settings accordingly because it will disconnect right away. I spoke to customer service about this all they have to tell me is that the app does not support my router 😂. I have switched routers twice and still it’s the same problem. Overall you guys really need to hire a new development person to upgrade this app, or just make a controller that can actually make changes with buttons.

Return your dreamscreen for a refund
The hardware that this app if for namely the dreamscreen 4k is broken and should have never been released. I’ve had 3 replacements so far and still the app doesn’t work with the hardware and the Hardware will switch off or loose connection it’s a joke.
The app is even worse can’t connect or set up ever! And if you get it working it looses connection and it have to add the hardware again.
It can see the side kick boxes but never the dreamscreen and when it does see them it says device is not responding.
Dreamscreen are not ignoring my emails and will not help.
Save your money and get a refund
