Update: I think I found it! I'm running a new build now and should send it out to testers today. I can't reproduce the API key being un-enterable, but there is a case where after entering it you may need to pull to refresh on the pages that say you need certain API key permissions (and one instance where the error message does not properly disappear after doing so - I've added that to the tracker).
