Very excited to play, but minor problem
I was really excited to see this was finally translated in English so I could play it! I really enjoyed the first one. It's a very relaxed game and that's what I like about it. I've already completed 3 character stories, but I only gotten the little story after the character's story is completed for one character, the Scribe, who I finished second. It says "ending" when I check her profile, but not for the other two that I have completed. I can only assume that this is just some kind of glitch and I hope it will be fixed in a game update real soon!Show lessSweebielala
Strangely addictive
For some strange reason I love this game. It's slow going but the music is so chilled out and lovely and the characters have such cute stories I just keep playingChyish
True to the original
The stories are great in how they are intertwined. The conversations are funny and sometimes surprising. I like how it's not difficult to earn money and I can just enjoy the stories. Also, the oden really looks delicious.Hjstjk

Well written storyline. I can't stay away from this game for that reason. The gameplay could have more depth as it is mostly just screen tapping, but it is relaxing. I hope a third one comes out.Dokurochan85
Just as good as the first, if not better
What a wonderful little game! I found myself genuinely becoming invested in the storylines, especially that of the young samurai and the eyepatch man. I noticed a few tweaks from the first game as well. Customers whose storylines are complete don't visit anymore except for the old lady and her daughter in law. Excellent change!Show lessPotatatoes

Another fun ride through Japanese culture
The original was a great cross-section of the lives of modem Tokyoites. The sequel drops you back to ancient Edo and so sets you up for more of a tour of historical tropes. Dish up the Oden and let the story come to you!
I do recommend they original game more than the sequel - the time travel fantasy takes away from the sense of reality present in the first game.Show lessLeovitch
