I LOVE this app so far! It runs fast and get an exact result, I can auto select different types of duplicate files and delete them with a click. You guys have no idea how long I have been looking for an app like this, thank thank, thank YOU!
I scanned a large number of photos off my HDD. There were a lot of photos so it took some time. Eventually, it showed the scan result with 700 GB duplicates, well it deserves waiting that long for scanning. If the scan speed can be faster, it will be a fantastic app!
I have consolidated my photo files to one library and in doing so have many duplicates and hence wish to clean up. I downloaded Cisdem Duplicate Finder, it scans fast and removes all the duplicate photos in a click. That's amazing!
I took lots of pictures almost every day, I found several duplicates that are taking up a lot of space, with the help of this software, I removed all the duplicates, it works wonderfully.
I bought the paid versions of this. This program helped me do HOURS of work in literally 3 clicks, 3 seconds. I had a ton of duplicated files, some even having multiple, but the duplicates were different file sizes and different resolution images, so all the other programs I tried weren't even detecting them as dupes. This program did. And it let me select the smaller versions of each file (leaving the largest of each), and I was able to delete over 2000 duplicates in a few clicks. WELL WORTH THE 20 BUCKS!
Found some duplicates. Missed most of them. If you choose the similar photo option it will delete photos that really aren't very similar, that is, they may contain other people or animals in them and you wouldn't want those deleted. Even when I chose that option it didn't find that many more duplicates. Pretty much a waste of money. Wish I could get a refund.

Hi, Thanks for sharing your experience. Cisdem Duplicate Finder will detect both duplicate and similar images, the "not found duplicates" should be technically similar images. Everyone has their own understanding of the difference between duplicate images and similar images, that's why Cisdem does not auto select similar images, and suggests users to manually check the similar images before deleting.I like this program,since it is not only able to search and delete the duplicate files, but also can restore the deleted files in a click, which makes the program seems be more security.
I am frustrated that my hard disk was being consumed by the duplicates, and it is impossible to search and delete each file. Thanks to Cisdem Duplicate Finder, it deleted all kinds of duplicate files in my hard disk.
My Mac is over-loaded, even though I spent a whole day to manually delete the duplicate files already. So I purchased this software, hopefully it can help to clear all the duplicate files on my Mac. You can not imagine how much duplicate files it cleared and now my Mac runs well with enough space on my disk. Far more enjoyable to have it.
It works to scan my whole disk for different kinds of files, and then it brings you a list to select the files you'd like to delete. In addition to manually selecting, there is an option of "Smart select", you can directly select this option and Cisdem will help you to mark all the deleted files according to the preference settings. I choosed the "Smart Select", which is really fast and convenient to release space in a click.
