I love this program cause it is really simple to us. Instead of manually choose duplicates or do a mass selection, the program will automatically help me to choose the duplicate files, what I need to do it click "Delete" after scanning. That is really convenient and saves me tons of time.
This is the worst app that I've ever purchased. I have about 45K pics in my photos album. It would freeze after going through 2000 pictures and identify 200 duplicates. After I deleted the pics, I restarted my computer and started the app again. The pictures it deleted were still there, and it froze in the same spot. I emailed customer service, and they gave me instrucitons that I had already followed. I followed up with their customer service team four times but never received any response. I can't believe I paid over 20 bucks for such a terrible product. Please heed my advice and look elsewhere. This app is a total, 100% bust.
Got the app to use it on some image folders. It keeps saying that almost all images in that folder are duplicates of each other, which is clearly not true. (For example, in a folder of 2000 images 1996 or so are supposed to be similar enough to be deleted. That's in a folder that includes gifs, images of black text on a white background, full color illustrations, etc.) I get similar results whether I set it to 98% image similarity or 7% image similarity. It's just unusable. I'm running Big Sur on a mid-2014 macbook, if that makes a difference-- but the app's website says the program was updated fairly recently, so I don't know what the problem could be. Other duplicate finder apps I've tried have worked fine-- they've missed some things, but they haven't tried to claim that every image in the folder is actually the same image. I don't get it.

Really sorry for the problem. The program with the current version is scanning the similar photos by default, which may misunderstand you. We are going to release a new version to scan the duplicates by default, please look forward to it.This app saved me hours of manually sorting out images and files!! Didn't realize I had so many duplicates on my Mac. What really has driven me to write this review is their good support. I met issues with scanning large-size photos and reached out to support, they replied me in less than 2 hours, and send me a
custom version which solved the issue. Highly impressed.
Today I needed to find a duplicate finder for a project I was working on. I downloaded two others duplicate programs, each one seeming promising as it began but both of them found not more than 4 duplicates. YOUR product "Cisdem" is still scanning my mac and has found 1,408 duplicates and rising and giving me over 2 GB back so far. No dragging photos into a box just click the plus sign and watch it work, I am so happy I found you! gives amazing results. I LOVE it.
I've recently merged multiple folders with my family photo and had an enormous number of duplicates. I tried multiple apps but none seemed to work, they only find a few duplicates. This app helps to remove duplicates in just a few minutes, and can really find similar images.
Everything on my system (and it was a lot of massive 2 internal hard drives) were purged - Spent a whole day scanning one hard drive, and after reading about other app reviews that said they scanned and scanned, and finally finished, but when they hit delete it would crash completely with the huge file before deleting everything - having to restart the whole process again. This did not - It purged everything fast (1.6MM files scanned) Highly recommend this app! Great price too!
Did exactly what it claimed to. The only thing it could have done better was deleting the folders that contained duplicates as well or offer to merge them (not sure if that’s actually possible). It would also be nice to set a default where you would like the remaining documents to go. I had started using iCloud drive which has been nice, but had caused documents to copy themselves about 5 times, because I misunderstood how it worked. Regardless, it turned a multiple hour job into about 10 minutes.
Actually I gave it five star days before, for the first time it found the duplicates I would like it to find. But don’t know why apple deleted my reviews. And after times using it, I found it’s could be better. Yes, it find the duplicates that in same name or(and) even different file name, that the content is duplicate! This really make sense for me a forgetful mother.
However, it could be better, the features that I wish it could add in next upgrade:
1. Could deselect the file folders when I select the wrong folder for scanning. Not remove all the folders!
2. Please add the option of deleting the duplicate files based on creation date, since I would like to keep the latest one.

We will keep upgrading and developing the best duplicate file finder for all Mac users.I used this duplicate finder these days to find and delete duplicates that speed up 10 GB on my mac. There are so many duplicate images, documents. Most thanksful thing is that I can recover them after I deleted the duplicates. The speed of it is really quickly.
