  • Q.

I use this app all the time, but find it most frustrating, because it seems to freeze on me constantly. The only way I can get it to work, is to reboot my phone constantly. I have an apple XR phone, up to date os, deleted and reinstalled app, still freezes on me .
  • Useful but buggy

The various UV timings are helpful, and the ability to modify for skin color and local conditions is a big plus. On the negative side, it often won’t update unless you force-quit the app and restart.
  • Good, almost great

I love being able to work out the UV in my area. This is a very handy app on my phone and Apple Watch, to help keep me and my kids safe.

The only downside is that it only records to Apple health when running the app from the watch. If I run it from my phone, the data doesn’t log with Apple health. Minor thing, but that would make it a great app if it logged from both.

  • Sunshine

Having had 3 skin cancers removed (benign) we’ve started to check on UV levels and needs to coverup when levels are high. This app is very handy for this.
  • Crashes

Used to be great app now It crashes immediately after opening
  • Uv info good, price not

All the info seems correct over the past while using it but the $13 charge for a few hours of info is definitely not necessary. I'd gladly buy it for a few bucks but not this overpriced.
  • Beautiful app, but inaccurate UV rating.

This is a very attractive app and I love the way the whole screen changes colour to match the UV rating.

Unfortunately the data is wrong. It’s currently stating the UV in my location is 8.2 with clear skies. Every other app I’m using (plus Siri’s own forecast) says it’s 4 and overcast. I’ve made absolutely sure the location is correct.

As such, the app is completely useless for its primary purpose.

  • App keeps crashing

Keeps crashing when opening the app
  • Awesome Tool

Such a great tool to see immediately the UV rate. Had surprised me some days were cloudy - proof how strong UV rays are
  • Best UV app

In my opinion, this is the best UV tracking app I’ve used until now. Easy to understand UI and updates to latest numbers frequently which helps to know real-time UV value. I also like the ‘skin’ feature as appropriate selection of skin type updates UV and vit D absorption rates.
