  • There is no better App!

My friends and I have used other apps for MTG Commander and we can honestly say there are no better apps than this one! The UI is very simple and easy to use and you are given many options and quality of life features!
  • Some glaring issues

This is overall a very stylish and effective app, however I can note two major issues in my experiences with it:

    1. While you can add counters and that is very beneficial, you cannot remove a counter type once it has been placed

    2. The screen does not rotate itself, essentially it is constantly stuck in one orientation

  • Great, but no updates on two years?!

Great app. We use it all the time and it’s worth paying for the full version.

A couple things I’d like to see added:
Coin flipping, flipping multiple coins at once specifically.
Commander damage tracking options that’s a bit more elegant than using the plain counters.
  • One of few great life counter apps

I love this app. It’s very responsive, clean and intuitive. Customization such as colors and settings isn’t lacking. It has some helpful tools. But it’s not quite complete in my opinion.

I wish I could give this a 4.5. A few things that would make this a 5 star for me: The ability to keep track of damage from multiple commanders (instead of just one, it’s kind of useless with 3+ player commander games), and secondly, the damage history (log) is also kind of useless. If I take 3 damage and I’m at 37 life, the history will just show -1 -1 -1 instead of showing -3. This makes it impossible to track down damage that was done turns ago or maybe previous steps or phases. Other apps have a short timer with the button press that will consolidate the damage to a single number, such as -3. And a few other quality of life additions are always wanted.

Overall, this is one of a few great life counter apps on the App Store. And I would gladly give it a perfect score if this app continues to see support from its developers. Don’t stop supporting this app, it’s almost perfect!

  • Best Counter I’ve Encountered

I’ve used many apps over my 10 years playing, and this is not only the cleanest, but the most functional. Even picking the players is fun, and it supports on the fly commander damage counters and displays everything cleanly and at a glance. Easy to see the board state any given time, and we’ve had six players at once with commander damage counters. It kept up and most importantly, clean. The fun colors are a bonus

  • Seriously sweet app

I’ve tried about half a dozen life tracker apps for Commander, and Carbon is by far my favorite of the bunch. It’s clean, it’s intuitive, and it just works without getting in the way.
  • Commander Update

Great app, definitely the best, but hasn’t been updated in around a year. I would love to put names on the screen. It would be great to have a commander damage counter and a commander tax counter too. This is the best looking and most useful counter app I have used, but it could use just a bit more to make it perfect.

  • Good counter

The app performs pretty well. I payed the $5 for the extra version but was a little underwhelmed by it. It allows you to change the colors and a couple other small things, but nothing too significant. They say they will be adding a name area as well that sounds interesting. The inly thing i wished they added was a difference counter for when you take away or add health. It would be nice to see a -5 or +5 in case i forget how much life I took away at one time.

  • Crisp and elegant game companion

When I first installed the app, I didn’t really see the point of it or a benefit to it that outweighed my usual methods of tracking life and counters.

I changed my mind very quickly. The design is incredibly satisfying- it’s simple, sleek, and straightforward in its usage. I use it every time I play, or one of my fellow players will bring it out. Also, while clearly designed for some games over others, it is still readily usable in games that require any form of scoring or keeping track of tokens/counters/turns/etc.

  • This is the one

Seriously, this is the best life counter ever but it’s not just a life counter, it’s got match history, many counters, a match timer and tons of customization not to mention dice and a feature to choose who goes first. However most other features are hidden behind a paywall, but other than that this is perfect!😄
