Description of Mutility

Mutility is a simple, refined, and customizable MTG life counter for 1 to 4 players. Designed to be used on the gaming surface with large, beautiful life totals and tap targets, Mutility makes keeping track of life totals simple so you can focus on the game. An editable history of the current game, secondary counters, visual customizations, and more advanced options are available through a single in-app purchase. To decrease life, tap the left side of a player’s life total; to increase, tap the right. Tap and hold to continuously increase or decrease life. A one-time in-app purchase unlocks all features of the app: • History: All life transactions in the current game, and at what time they occurred. Use it to settle disputes and delete mistakes. • Secondary counters: Add an additional counter for poison, energy, wins, or Commander. • Customization settings: Colors, player names, screen layout, starting life totals, and more. • Settings for fussy folks: Change the long press life increment, enable two-finger-tap for lifelink or extort, automatically clear the game timer when the game is reset, and allow dice roll ties.

  • Best life counter

My friends all have different life counters, but this one is the best of the lot. Some have even switched from theirs to this one.
The colors are easiest to read here, dice rolling is an amazing feature, the secondary counters are great.

The only thing I can realistically think of to improve would be having multiple alt trackers for each player. Even just one more (total of two mini trackers per player) would be awesome.

  • My favorite life tracker

Super useful. Worth the small cost for the full version. System is intuitive and easy to read at a distance. And keeping track of life changes in a log is also great for when there’s a dispute in life totals.
  • He’s life counter I’ve come across.

Hands down the best life counter I’ve used. The amount of customization is always great to have. My one ask (not complaint) of the devs is to incorporate a way to keep track of commander damage from more than one player.
