  • Overwhelmingly good!

This app has so many customization options it can get overwhelming, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. You can spend hours setting it up, but after, you are left with easy-to-access collections and filters, including tags and templates. The game-changer for me is locations. Having structure gives me order, control and serves as a navigation tool since the locations in the app mirror my physical locations. At a glance, if a shelf is empty, I know right away and can take action. I use collections as categories, and with that, I have complete control over every single item in my inventory. Whenever I make a sale, I know exactly where it is, if I produce a new item, I know where to store it, if I’m running low, I can plan ahead; if I run out of stock and I’m closing a sale I know if I have all the raw materials I need. It has helped me manage my inventory better than anything else I’ve found.

  • One step forward and two steps back

I like the new version. My most requested feature was the history log, and it's finally here. However, the inventory totals are gone; the nice formatting for prices is gone; folders replace locations groups and take a while to reorganize; I guess I wanted some things to stay the same. Now, the developer assured me new features are coming soon, and the support is 5 stars, which is not common nowadays. I appreciate the new features but please bring back the inventory totals.

Thank you for your feedback. Totals will come back very soon and we have more enhancements in the works.
  • Great Support, Fabian!

I downloaded this app to test during the App Santa giveaway. I had an issue redeeming the paid version, but the developer Fabian got back to me literally within minutes and took care of me.

Not much experience yet with the app itself, but I had a great first impression of the care and support given by Fabian. Well done!

  • Does everything I need but…

First, this app is not free, but you can test almost the full functionality before paying. I did try the multiuser but canceled the trial as I don't need it and opted for just the Pro license. I'm responsible for ordering paper goods, detergents, supplies, etc, and this app is perfect for tracking what's running low. Second, it seems full-featured, but it lacks one crucial thing: export. I'm in a location, I see the items, but there is no way to export a list to send to my colleague or boss. Please add this feature! Overall, I recommend this app, but I'm expecting to export to excel or pdf inside locations or collections soon. You can export your whole inventory, so why not locations?

  • The best inventory tracker

I used spreadsheets to track inventory manually, and it worked, at least for a while. But the errors started to pile up when I needed to track individual quantities of the same item in two separate locations. I tried Sortly and Airtable, but they were expensive. I don't know about you, but I like apps designed with iOS in mind, and Inventory List feels right at home. The previous version started feeling a bit dated but still had a nice familiar feeling. The new version feels like a completely new app, and I was not too fond of it at first, but after playing with it, everything feels intuitive, and adjusting quantities could not be easier. I love the new search feature with tags to make it more granular. I use tag filters extensively, and now you can add other criteria but I found them a bit buggy. Fortunately, the developer contacted me right away and will fix the issues. The killer feature in the new version is history. That was another problem with sharing spreadsheets and everyone touching the inventory. This is a great app, hands down, and I use it daily to help me keep track of all the stuff I need at the shop. Thank you for the new version and for adding bigger fonts.

Hi Léa6847sun, thank you for your feedback and review.
  • Clean, focused-featured

If you need to track your inventory this app will suit your needs and much much more. Once indie app but is so much more… thank you!
  • Crash, buggy, expensive and no support

I did not feel like posting a 1 star review, I took the time to read through the various comments and send the developer an email on support. The developer responded with a very rude email, many of which can already be seen on versions reviews. The app was part of a promotion and made free for indie app Santa on 13th December. There are other apps that do a lot more in a much more convenient way for much lesser. The developers and support for those apps do not give you an attitude for getting things wrong, instead if he had simply offered a resolution and not been rude this review would not have been 1 star. It is the experience with this app, the developer that is 1 star

  • App kept crashing

Update: I’m just addressing the developer’s response. No one is spamming you. They are just reviewing your app based on their experience. What do you want them to say? The app didn’t work. If you are going to offer a promo, make sure it works or at least know how to address user’s concerns. Trying to get pity, getting defensive or threatening to raise the cost of the app is not the right way to respond. Good luck with your app, I genuinely hope you do well!

    Original review:

When they had the one day sale offering lifetime pro for free, it conveniently kept crashing. I tried many times that day and on different iOS devices I owned. Now that the sale is over the in app purchases works again. Humm🤔

Thank you for your feedback and thank you for your wishes. I understand your frustration, there was no sale, just me sharing my work with the world and it went wrong. That's on me. If you are still interested, just reach out to support@inventorylist.app and I'll provide you with a code.
  • App crashes when attempting to upgrade

When attempting to upgrade the app, the app crashes and closes out. You offer this in app purchases for free. You go to upgrade it and the app crashes. The device I am using is an 13 pro max with current software. I did not try it on my iPad, so I don’t know if its just an iPhone issue. My review was left out of frustration and could of been handled differently. I think in the same way, after getting so many 1 star reviews might have played into how your response was worded. Along those lines though, I feel you thought I wrote my review with malice. Missing out on the free offer did play into my 1 star, but mainly the fact it crashed repeatedly was a bigger factor. The developer seemed to treat me as I was lying. The app crashed. If you share an email, I will be willing to,share step by step what I did that ended in this error. I rewrote my whole review to show you my good faith. Sorry about the multiple times this was submitted through writing. App Store keep closing out and I lost what I wrote. Please forgive me for the way my first review was written. This is why I just rewrote the whole review. Looking forward to maybe figuring out the problem with the way the iPhone handles your app.

  • Santa app deal crashed on in-app purchase

The whole Indie App Santa thing offered this full version for free but conveniently the bug where the app crashed when doing any in-app purchase lasted the entire day of the deal. Again how convenient. If you never were part of that promotion then fine no one made you. But you were and you conveniently didn’t allow any purchases that day and conveniently fixed it after it was over. What a dishonest scam.
